After Breakfast today you will visit the only man made structure visible from the moon The Great Wall of China (cable car). One of the oldest historic monuments in the world and a symbol of Chinas ancient civilization. The wall, which is not Continuous but actually built in multiple sections, extends over 3,000 miles. Though hiking only over a portion of the wall, be prepared for an arduous hike over rough terrain, as the stone work is rough hewn and thousands of Years old. It leaves you spellbound by its sheer magnitude and architectural spendour. Visit Jade Factory. Today, your day unfolds with a guided City tour of Tian anmen Square the largest open public square in the world flanked by the imposing Tiananmen Gate and crowned by a tower with a typical tiled roof and the Museums of History and Revolution. Your city tour continues to the palace better known as The Forbidden City. Admire this architectural master piece with exotic pavilions serene courtyards and flourishing gardens. BEIJING / SLEEPER TRAIN TO XIAN DAY 04 Breakfast at hotel This morning visit the Panda Zoo, one of the famous Summer Palace in china which most of travelers like to visit. Visit the Ancient Wall, built in 1374 AD on the lines of the City of Changan in the Tang Dynasty. Later visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which houses sutras collected by a wandering Chinese monk in India celebrating the onset of Buddhism in China. XIAN / SLEEPER TRAIN TO SHANGHAI DAY 06 Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast visit Terra Cotta Warriors and their Horses. A collection of 8099 large than life Chinese terracotta figures of warriors, horses and other figures. Lunch will serve at local restaurant. After Lunch proceed to Xian station in the evening to board the over night train to Shanghai. Packed dinner will serve at train station. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL NOTICE REGARDING BOOKING Please read carefully and understand the contents of the itinerary and the terms and conditions. To affect the booking we may require you to sign the booking form and such other documents as we may deem fit, including the terms and conditions.

ORIENTAL TOUR OF CHINA

CONDITIONS OF OTHER THIRD PARTY OPERATORS. In the event you are booking through us a tour/travel service of any third party operators, Cosmos, Star Cruises etc. the terms and conditions of such third party operators, including their payment schedule, cancellation refund etc., shall be applicable to you in addition to our terms and conditions.

ONE/SOME MEMBERS MAY SIGN BOOKING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF A GROUP. In case of one or more but not all tour participants named in the booking form sign the booking documents, it shall be deemed that the signatories have been authorized by all such tour participants.

CONTRACT SUBJECT TO SIGNATURE AND PAYMENTS Please note that there is no contract between the Company and tour participants until the booking documents are signed and received by the company and the Company has also received the specified non refundable interest free booking g amount. Failing which the company will cancel the booking.

MINIMUM PARTICIPATION This tour is operated subject to a minimum participation of 15 paying adult participants. If the participation is less than the minimum prescribed (as below) we reserve the right to amend, amalgamate, vary or cancel the tour without incurring any liability to pay any compensation. If we decide to operate the tour with participation below the minimum stipulated or if you are required to travel as individual travelers (consisting of minimum 05 passengers traveling together not as a group) we reserve the right to collect any additional pro-rata amount. In such cases you may not be provided certain services which may have been provided in the group tour, including the services of a Tour Manager and you may need to travel on an amended itinerary and services.

CANCELLATION/ AMENDEMENT BY COMPANY

We reserve our right to amend or cancel the tour booked by you without assigning any reason. Such amendment or cancellation maybe due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases we will offer you alternative travel dates, or you; would have the option of travelling as individual travelers, not as part of the original tour.

ORIENTAL TOUR OF CHINA

If you; do not wish to travel as an individual traveler we would refund the money paid by you after deducting any costs incurred by us. However we will not be liable for any compensation, or damages or consequential loss or to refund any other expenses incurred by you.

CANCELLATION OF BOOKING BY YOU. Should you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. The following cancellation charges shall apply irrespective of the reason for cancellation. You understand that these charges are a genuine pre-estimate of the damages we will suffer on account of cancellation. You agree not to dispute such deductions or to demand proof of actual damages. You also agree not to proceed legally against us unless there is a manifest error on our part.

AMENDMENT OF BOOKING BY YOU If you; wish to amend or change your booking, you have to communicate your request with us in writing. Such requests for change or amendment will be accepted subject to availability. You will have to bear all extra costs incurred by us in amending your booking.

INSURANCE It is a condition for booking with us that you taker out insurance at the time of or prior to making your booking. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that the insurance cover they purchase is suitable and adequate for their particular needs.

ORIENTAL TOUR OF CHINA

Please note that you would have a direct contractual relation with the insurer. You shall directly submit claims to your Insurance Company. The Insurance Company shall directly pay the entitlement amounts to you and any disputes in regard to rejection of claim or adequacy of settlement amount shall be settled by you directly with the Insurance Company.

MEALS

Please refer to the itinerary for details of meals which would be served on tour. In addition, at the briefing prior to departure, we will indicate to you further the type of meals been served on tour. We however reserve the right to change the meals arrangement, where circumstances compel us to do so. At some places a meal allowance maybe paid to you at our discretion to enable you to have a meal of your own choice.

Hotels can be located either in the City Centre or away from City Centre depending on the routing for the next day. Hotels selected on this tour are generally intended to give you value for money. For various reasons such as reducing the overall travelling time on the coach for the following day, the hotels maybe selected away from the City Centre. We cannot guarantee the availability of adjoining rooms/interconnecting rooms/non smoking rooms/rooms on the same floor etc. While checking into the hotel, please follow instructions of the Tour Manager Please note that any damage to your room will be charged to you directly by the hotel. If you seek a change in room, while on a tour, the same will be subject to availability and you will need to pay any additional charges as applicable.

COACH AND SEATING. Since most of your travel will be by road. We have carefully chosen air-conditioned coaches for your comfort, but we are not responsible if the air-conditioning equipment malfunctions for any reason. On group tours you are not allotted seat numbers, as a seat rotation system is followed. You must follow instructions of the tour Manager in this regard.

If you or any of your co-passengers misses any service due to unpunctuality, we shall not be liable to refund any amount or pay any compensation.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND CLEARANCES It shall be solely your responsibility to hold valid travel documents and statutory clearances to enable you to travel on the tour. Please note that your passport must be valid for at least six months subsequent to the scheduled departure of the tour.

HEALTH Please note that your health is entirely your risk and responsibility. Our tours are suitable for persons of reasonable fitness. They may not suit persons who are medically infirm or who have special needs or requirements whether due to age, medical conditions or otherwise. It shall be your duty to inform us in case you have any medical condition that may effect your ability to fully enjoy our tour arrangements. Or where the interests of other tour participants maybe adversely effected by such condition. It is not our obligation to check your medical condition and if you suffer any injury or aggravation on the tour or if you are unable to enjoy/complete the whole or any part of the tour due to your medical condition, we shall not be liable; to compensate you nor to refund any amount to you nor to pay any medical expenses.

LIABILITIES We shall have no liability in the following circumstances Any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and/or damage of any kind of theft howsoever caused. WE shall not be responsible and or liable for any damage caused due to reasons; beyond the control of this company (Force Majeure) any overstay expenses due to delay or changes Airline flight/ships trains cancellation of special bogie or other services due to any reason whatsoever. EMPLOYEES / AGENTS NOT AUTHORISED TO CHANGE TERMS No person including any of our employees or agents has the authority to alter, amend or waive any stipulation, representation, term or condition set forth in this document.

COMMUNICATION

Communication transmitted to your mailing address/email address on record shall be deemed to have been communicated to you even if returned as undeliverable for any reason. All communication from you to the company has to be in writing not orally.

LAW AND JURISDICTION You agree that in the event

UNPUNCTUALITY.

Further, we shall not be liable to pay any compensation/damages for any change in itinerary or for missing any services due to the unpunctuality or actions of your co-passengers. Please note that smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages and snacks are strictly; prohibited on coaches. Please keep the Coach clean to avoid discomfort to yourself and other tour participants. Please take care not to leave behind any property in the coach while disembarking. The company will not be responsible or liable in case of loss of such property under any circumstances. Kindly use the convenience stops provided at regular intervals.

APPLYING FOR YOUR VISA.

Please note that it is compulsory that you apply for your visa at least 3 weeks prior to departure on the tour departure. You must therefore be in possession of a valid travel document. Our staff will assist you in processing application your visa. It will take 05 working days to issue and deliver an invitation letter from China and it will take 04 working days to grant valid visa by the Embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka

PRICE OF THE TOUR

We will at all times endeavor to maintain the Sri Lankan price quoted by us subject to the condition that you make payment the following payments on the dates indicated below: a) Pay a deposit of 50% of the total tour price at the time of booking. b) Final payment of the balance payment is made 21 days prior to departure.

In case the above payments are not made at the time shown above, we will be compelled to pass on any increase in the USD to you.

PUNCTUALITY The drivers are bound by restrictions concerning maximum driving hours per day and per week. The itineraries are therefore planned with regard to the same. It is therefore essential that the itineraries, schedules and timings are strictly adhered to by you so as to ensure that all the services can be duly provided. If you or your co-passengers miss any service due to unpunctuality, there would be no refund for the same. This shall be applicable even on occasion when you are affected by your co-passengers lack of punctuality.

BAGGAGE Please note that Porterage is not included in the tour price. It is often difficult to get Porters to assist as hotels may or may not provide this service. It is therefore advisable to use bags with wheels. Coaches have limited space for baggage. Therefore, we permit only one suitcase and one handbag per person.
