1. FOR SOLAS SAFETY EQUIPMENT (SOLAS CH. II-2 / REGULATION 10.10 & FSS CODE CH. 3 / REG.2)
2 FIREMENS' OUTFITS WITH THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT FOR EACH OUTFIT (ATTENTION: THE TOTAL NUMBER MUST BE DOUBLE THAN SHOWN BELOW): 1) one protective clothing of material to protect the skin from the heat radiating from the fire and from burns and scalding by steam. The outer surface shall be water-resistant 2) one pair of boots made of rubber or other electrically non-conducting material 3) one rigid helmet providing effective protection against impact 4) one electric safety lamp (hand lantern) of an approved type with a minimum burning period of 3 h. Electric safety lamps on tankers and those intended to be used in hazardous areas shall be of an explosion-proof type 5) one axe with a handle provided with high-voltage insulation 6) one SCBA with 2 spare air bottles (i.e. total 3 bottles for each SCBA) ATTENTION: AS PER SOLAS CH. II-2 / REG. 10.10.2.5 IN CASE A VESSEL HAS PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSOR FOR REFILLING AIR CYLINDERS OF SCBAs, THEN ONLY 1 SPARE AIR BOTTLE IS NECESSARY FOR EACH SCBA (SO TOTALLY YOU SHOULD HAVE 4 AIR BOTTLES ONBOARD) 7) one fireproof lifeline of at least 30 m in length PIECES ONBOARD? 2. FOR HELICOPTER USE (SOLAS CH. II-2 / REGULATION 18.5) ---> DIFFERENT FROM THOSE REQUIRED FOR SOLAS SAFETY EQUIPMENT

3. FOR DANGEROUS GOODS USE (SOLAS CH. II-2 / REGULATION 19.3.6) ---> DIFFERENT FROM THOSE REQUIRED FOR SOLAS SAFETY EQUIPMENT
4 SETS OF FULL - BODY PROTECTIVE CLOTHING RESISTANT TO CHEMICAL ATTACK 2 SCBAs WITH 2 SPARE AIR BOTTLES FOR EACH SCBA (I.E. TOTALLY 2 x 3 = 6 AIR BOTTLES) --> YOU SHOULD USE THE SCBAs OF HELICOPTER (INTERCHANGEABLE WITH DANGEROUS GOODS). ATTENTION: AS PER SOLAS CH. II-2 / REG. 10.10.2.5 IN CASE A VESSEL HAS PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSOR FOR REFILLING AIR CYLINDERS OF SCBAs, THEN ONLY 1 SPARE AIR BOTTLE IS NECESSARY FOR EACH SCBA (SO TOTALLY YOU SHOULD HAVE 4 AIR BOTTLES ONBOARD)

ADDITIONAL HELICOPTER EQUIPMENT (SOLAS CH. II-2 / REGULATION 18.5 & ICS GUIDE TO HELICOPTER OPERATIONS)
Two dry powder fire extinguishers with a total capacity of not less than 45 kg A suitable foam application system as per ICS Guide par.4.7 ATTENTION: For Jinglu Shipyard vessels (i.e. LAMBAY & sisters): 4 pcs foam applicators with 20lt can of protein foam 3% + 20 ltrs spare can of proterin foam 3%. The coupling of foam applicators depends on vessel type (for Jinglu vessels = STORZ 65 couplings). Two CO2 fire extinguishers with a total capacity of not less than 18 kg A deck water system, Two dual-purpose fire hose nozzles (jet/spray) and hoses sufficient to each any part of the helicopter operating area A fire resistant blanket and gloves and A large axe, Crowbar, 60 cm bolt/Wire cutters, Red emergency signal / torch, First aid equipment. Adjustable wrench Grab or salving hook Heavy duty hacksaw, complete with 6 spare blades Ladder (aluminum preferable) Lifeline, 5mm diameter x 15m in length Side cutting pliers Harness knife complete with sheath First aid kit
