Chapter Background!
Created in 2009; in short three years the chapter has grown to over 700 members in various programs including nursing, pharmacy, medicine, engineering, allied health sciences, health policy, management, and public health.
The Chapter at the University of Toronto is a wonderful example of how students and faculty are using the IHI Open School to help fulll the promises of quality and safety to patients. Student and faculty champions at UofT are helping to promote quality and safety education both in the classroom and in the eld. Our partners at UofT have also been instrumental in piloting the IHI Open School Quality Improvement Practicum which allows learners to apply quality improvement skills in real world settings.
