A Chart (Series 4) that lists the titles of the 10 Six Minute Talks with the corresponding Talk Number. These Scripts or Articles could be read or downloaded from ScribD 2. A Chart (Series 3) that lists out the series of talks that covers the subject Muslim History or Islamic History. This interesting subject is covered in two approaches. One set of talks (Talk Nos 114 & 116) are an outline of what happened, and The second lot of talks (Talk Nos 117 to 119) is a description of the reaction of the Muslim world or the Muslim Populace to the changes or the social tribulations that were taking place right throughout this history. 3. A Chart (Series 2) that lists out the 16 Talks (or Episodes) under the series Knowing Allah Taaalah or Knowing GOD These Scripts or Articles too could be read or downloaded from ScribD 4. Notes to these talks or to these scripts/ articles
The main objective of these talks (and therefore the scripts of these talks), is to stimulate thinking. Sensible, rational and logical thinking. So, my message, think, think & think! Be sensible, be rational and be logical.
In Surah Thaa Haa, Allah describes to us how he chooses Moosa (AS) for his Wahi: (20:13) I have chosen you (for prophethood), so listen to the Wahee (what is revealed) Moosa (AS) then makes a list of requests, the first these being: (20:25) He said, My Rabb, expand for me, my Swudhoor In English we translate the word SWudhoor to mean Chest So I ask the question, why did Moosa (AS) make this request? It seems that the SWudhoor is something very important. Then we also see this Aayath in the Quran, where Allah addresses Muhammad (Sal)
(94:1) Have We not caused your bosom to be wide open for you?
So what does this Swudhoor do? Again let us learn from the Quran:
(6:125) So, whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He makes his SWudhoor wide open for Islam,
and whomsoever He wills to let go astray, He makes his SWadhr strait and constricted,
So we see that those who are being guided have their SWudhoors expanded, whilst those who are being led astray would have their SWudhoors strait and constricted (DHlaiyyiQan harajan) So we begin to realize that if we are being guided, then the contents of our SWudhoor would be blessed and if we are being led astray then the contents of the Swudhoor would be evil. This is how Allah explains to us about the contents of the Swudhoor of evil people;
(40:56) Surely, those who quarrel in Allahs verses without any authority having reached them, there is nothing in their SWudhoor but (Kibr) pride of greatness that they are not (able) to reach. So, seek refuge with Allah. Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
Then Allah also tells us about the cure for the ailments of the SWudhoor (10:57) O men, there has come to you an advice from your Rabb, and a cure for the ailments of your SWudhoor, and guidance and mercy for the believers. Does this not indicate that the Quran or the Aayaths from the Quran are: advice from our Rabb (Mauw ghiDHzathum min Rabbikum) and a cure for the ailments of the Swudhoor (Wa Shifaaun Fee SWudhoori) and a guidance (Wa Hudhan) and a mercy for the Mumins (Wa Rahmathul lil Mumineen) Now let us read this very enlightening Aayath that informs us about not only what the Sudhoor contains but also about what happens in the SWudhoor. Wonderful!
(29:49) But it (the Qurn in itself) is (a package of) evident signs in the SWudhoor of those who are given knowledge. And no one rejects our verses except the wrongdoers.
Now Allah tells us how those who possess the evil quality of Takabbur, try to hack in to our SWudhoor and infect it.
And finally in this Aayath Allah tells us as to why he is putting us through these tests: (3:154) (All this was done) so that Allah may test what is in your SWudhoor and may purify what is in your Qalb. Allah is All-Aware of what lies in the SWudhoor. May Allah Taaalah guide us all and accept us all. Jazza Kalla Khairan. Assalamu Alaikum

Please Note
1. I have had the great privilege, (since Aug 2010), of presenting talks on the weekly Radio Program Culture of Islam [Friday 5.30 to 6.00 am, Radio Sri Lanka - FM 97.4] 2. Since these are Radio Talks, I refer to, or address the audience as listeners 3. I am well aware that the audience to these talks would consist of people belonging to a variety of faiths. So as to make people of all faiths feel included, I very often use words and names that are common to all religions. 4. For these reasons, I use the name GOD, as well as Abraham, Moses, Jesus etc as well as the names Allah, Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam), Moosa (Alaihis Salaam), Easa (Alaihis Salaam) etc 5. Muslims by habit usually say Sallallahu Alaihiwasallam, when the name of Prophet Muhammad is mentioned, and Alaihis Salaam' when the name of a Prophet is mentioned. However, in these series of talks I have reduced the use of these prayers & sayings to the bare minimum. 6. Muslims, also by habit, use a number of Arabic prayers or sayings, such as Alhamdulillah, Insha Allah and so on. Again, I have reduced the use of these prayers or sayings to the bare minimum. 7. Sometimes I have to write Arabic words in the English script. I have devised my own way of writing Arabic in English, as follows;
