In a four-cornered room I sat before human beings whose thoughts were like as moving electrons decoding hidden mysteries behind collection of pictures. It came in a blink of an eye that the place where I was, suddenly turn into black and rays of light shattered from a box in front of me. After which rays turned into moving pictures that fascinates the eye triggering synapses and neurons for production. As I gather and puzzle out those moving pictures held by the tiny box, it came to be a portrait of farm animals struggling to free from human colonization.

In surface level, George Orwells novel Animal Farm is a tale about the struggle of farm animals to obtain freedom from colonization of the human race. Does it only pertain to that point of view? Criticizing the film through different approaches, we could pinpoint hundreds of conclusions. But of all critical approach, one dominates the others. In a Marxist point of view George Orwell urges readers to come up in conclusion correlating with what is happening to his society. Travelling back in time, farm animals were led by Old Major to come into consciousness that they were only used by the humans for their own needs. Old Majors words led the others to strike out a revolution against humans striking them out of the farm. The fog of war did not last for a long span of time, for the animals were victorious taking over the farm from its owner. Everyone lived a prosperous and just way of life but there came a point where one wants to outstand the other. Shifting from a democratic way of living into dictatorship, wherein the others are only to follow rightful commands and laws provided he can benefit unto it.

Marxism is an approach which focuses on the economical view. Wondering why Orwell would use cast of animals in his book, this might tell us symbols representing various persons in an economical society. Each and every cast would represent a significant person and hereon let us unveil the characteristics of each. Totalitarianism (dictatorship), corruption (greed; gluttony), class warfare (special treatment) and language as a great power (propaganda) can be observed.

Old Major, the pig who created the idea of animalism urging everybody to rebel against the human race signifies a person whose heart has found the essence of revolution against their great leaders and wants to build a new society wherein everybody lives equally. Napoleon and Snowball are Old Majors main disciples embracing revolution and animalism but this two has different views as to how animals shall live in the farm. One withstands with the idea that all shall live equally in a democratic system, but on the other side one withstands to communism or dictatorship wherein one holds the power above all and that he has to rule the others for their good secretly dominating the love for pleasure rather than service. Squealer and Minimus are Napoleons loyal servants propagating the minds of the others to follow Napoleons rightful commands for their good represents persons behind power poisoning every mans thinking. Horses were powerful men who had given all their strength to follow orders not knowing of decisive intentions instead they instill their brains of their great dictator to be always right. Sheep are dumb animals, as to what is shown the herd has believed and braced every single word their master uttered. Powerful and brave dogs represent such branch of the government whose main rule is to terrorize other animals from rebel to dictatorship in which in return receives a special treatment of all the others. And Mr. Jones the owner of the, and once a strict and fierce master, Mr. Jones has in recent years become drunk, careless, and ineffective, though he remains as cruel as ever. Here Jones represents a government or group of people privileging not other than power and position. But why would Orwell use animals in? We come in a conclusion that in order to hide the identity of the persons being attacked by the story, Orwell uses animals which characteristics mostly fit.

George Orwell burns up hearts searching for true and just freedom, he intends to inform and persuade people to fight for their rights. Informs about formation of the black society dominating the others and in return people has to stand up to their feet to fight from colonization. In a running clock, a white cloth has a great tendency to form dark spots which needs to be counteract to withstand order.
