GREETINGS:
WHEREAS, the Supreme Court, on July 15, 2013, adopted a
resolution in the above-entitled case, to wit:
"G.R. Nos. 206310-11 (Jaime C. Dichavez vs. Office of the
Ombudsman and the Special Division of the Sandiganbayan). - The
Court r:esolves to NOTE:
( 1) the entry of appearance as collaborating counsel for
petitioner, filed by Atty. Pacifico A. Agabin of Agabin
V erzola & Layaoen Law Offices; and
(2) Atty. Agabin's manifestation and motion stating that on May
31, 2013, the Sandiganbayan has set the arraignment of
herein petitioner in the plunder case entitled "People of the
Philippines vs. Jaime Dichaves, et al., "docketed as Criminal
Case No. 26558, and praying that the Court act on the
temporary restraining order prayed for in the instant petition
for certiorari to restrain the Sandiganbayan from proceeding
with the arraignment and trial of the petitioner.
After deliberating on the petition for certiorari with prayer for a
tempor'ary restraining order assailing the Joint Resolution dated March 14,
2012 and Order dated February 4, 2013 ofthe Office of the Ombudsman
in OMB-0-01-0211 and OMB-0-01-0291, the Court, without necessarily
giving due course thereto, further resolves to require respondents to
COMMENT thereon (not to file a motion to dismiss) within a NON-
EXTENDIBLE period of ten {1 0) days from notice and to ISSUE a
TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER enjoining respondents, their
agents and assigns, and anyone acting under them or on their behalf, from
proceeding with the arraignment and trial of the petitioner for the crime of
Plunder under R.A. No. 7080, effective immediately and continuing until
further orders from the Court. (Peralta, J., no part, as he participated in
the plunder case; Sereno, CJ., designated Member per Raffle dated July
17, 2013.)"
NOW THEREFORE, You, your agents, representatives and/or
any person or persons acting upon your orders or in your place or stead,

are hereby ENJOINED from proceeding with the arraignment and trial of
the petition for the crime of Plunder under R.A. No. 7080, effective
immediately and continuing until further orders from the Court.
