We consider ‘partners’ those institutions that have some type of relationship with Accion through investments, technical assistance or other services. Network institutions are members of the Red Accion.

    * Over first quarter of 2013, institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean decreased their active client by 2,818 clients (0.1%). In absolute terms, Mibanco in Peru was the institution in this group with the largest decrease: 21,155 active clients (4.2%). In contrast, this group grew its active portfolio by US$174.9 million (17.2%), and also Mibanco/Peru was the institution in this group with the highest decrease in this variable: US$49.0million(2.6%).

    * Partners in Africa decreased by 1,093 active clients (1.3%). In absolute terms, Sogesol in Haiti was the institution with the highest decrease in this variable by1,501 clients (5.3%). also, this group decreased its active portfoliobyUS$3.1million(3.4%)andAkibawastheinstitutionthatdecreasedmore:US$1.9million(4.6%). *PartnersinAsiagrewby10,595activeclients(9.0%).Inabsoluteterms,thehighestgrowthwasinSaija(India)with5,710clients(23%).Furthermore,thisgroupincreaseditsactiveportfoliobyUS$3.9million(12.6%)and Swadhaar(India)wastheinstitutioninthisgroupthatincreasedinthisvariablethemost:4.7million(28.4%).

    ByMarchof2013,thegroupofInstitutionsofLatinAmericaandtheCaribbeanshowedanincreaseintheirportfolioatriskof0.48points;itremainsbelowtheweightedaverageofall institutionsby0.04points. ThegroupPartnersinAfricaincreasedItsindicatorby1.43percentagepoints.And,itisthegroupthatremainsabovethetotalweightedaverage(3.06pointsabove). ThegroupofpartnersinAsiashowedadecreaseof0.82points.However,itstays2.22pointsbelowtheweightedaverageofthetotalriskindicator.
