Mains monitoring unit EMA 1101 / EMA 1101 105V

To safeguard your power supply

Description
Microprocessor 3-phase measurement and monitoring unit with optional connection to the FRAKO Starkstrombus to detect, analyse and monitor electrical measurement variables in 400 V and 525 V low voltage mains or medium voltage mains (100 V, secondary). Measurement via three external current converters Automatic range switch-over Determination of current in PEN (neutral + PE) Measurement of active demand for incoming and recovery power Menu-driven in plain text and 6 parameters displayed for direct comparison Alarm on exceeding set limits with potential-free NO contact as well as plain text shown on a flashing backlit display Menu-driven programming in plain text with operator prompts Storage of all meter readings and limit values on mains failure Illuminated LC display of measured values Optional connection to the FRAKO Starkstrombus for remote indication of measured values, limit values and current and voltage curves, remote operation and data management of historical data (daily graphs, monthly and yearly evaluations) via PC Can be connected directly to a PC using an additional RS232 adapter

Data memory for

3 x voltage min./max. 3 x current in phase cond., max. 3 x distortion volt., max. 3 x harmonics, max. (V3,...V19)
PF, min./max.

Current in PEN, max. Asymmetry, max. 2 x temperature, min./max. (PT100)

Programming and display software EMA-SW

For direct access using the RS 232 interface adapter

Simple configuration
The EMA 1101 mains monitoring unit can easily be programmed using the EMA-SW software and an RS 232 interface adapter. The unit is immediately ready to use once the transformer ratios for voltage and current have been entered. Individual alarm values can be set in the EMA 1101 mains monitoring unit to evaluate and monitor the quality of the mains system. These values can be simply and easily entered using the menu item EMA Configuration. The alarm relay of the EMA 1101 is activated when the range is exceeded. Faults can thus be identified and the appropriate procedures carried out.

Easy-to-read remote display

All actual measured values such as active and reactive power, PF, asymmetry as well as voltage and current harmonics are shown directly on the individual PC work station. The integrated counting function in the EMA 1101 enables the actual meter readings for active and reactive power to be called up at any time.

Actual trends for voltage and current

Knowing the actual trends for voltage and current is an important tool for evaluating the quality of the mains. Voltage and current values for L1 to L3 are displayed in a simple layout using the EMA-SW software.

Detailed evaluation
The EMA 1101 mains monitoring unit stores all key minimum and maximum values. These can easily be read using the EMA-SW software to provide a detailed evaluation of the system.
