Description :
The Ultracon 170 Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Tester for concrete testing is a professional test instrument that measures ultrasonic transit time with high accuracy & repeatability to evaluate uniformity , cavities , cracks, delamination , deterioration and strength of materials such as concrete, refractory bricks, graphite, plastics & wood. Ultracon 170 conforms to : EN 12504-4, ASTM C 597-02, Bs1881 PART 203, IS 1311, CEC 521, ISO 1920-7:2004

Features : Performance : High Energy 1200V & 600V Pulse Voltage selection combined with user High Sensitivity receiver allows usage on Dense & High Attenuation Materials. Direct readout of transit time of ultrasonic waves on TFT color LCD Display with different color display for Direct Measurement, Indirect Measurement & Crack Depth Measurement for Easy Navigation & usage on site or in the Laboratory. Latest 4th generation Design Circuilary for excellent repeatability stability.

Key pad Display on Instrument for Start/Stop Measurement, High/Low Voltage, PRF distance or thickness Setting of substrate under test. Hands free operation. Ruggedised Aluminum case allows use inTough Construction environment apart from laboratory usage. Display Transit time in 0.1s resolution. Optional modification to connect 2 to 16 transducers using Multiplexer, Mortar Container & PC option to observe change of ultrasonic transit time of hardening process according to time lapse.
