That you shall submit the original marks memos in respect of certificates (X and XII) for verification at the time of joining. 3. That you shall arrange to submit original JEE (Main) score card from the competent authority. Please confirm your acceptance of the offer no later than August 1, 2013 (Thursday) by making a non-refundable deposit of Rs. 75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five thousand only) in the form of a Demand Draft taken from any of the nationalized banks favoring International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and payable at Bangalore. This amount will be adjusted with the tuition fee for the first semester. Procedure for sending acceptance: 1. Take demand draft as per the instructions above. 2. Send an acceptance e-mail to admissions@iiitb.ac.in by August 1, 2013 with the following information: E-mail Subject: Acceptance of admission <<Your application ID>> Attachment: Scanned image of your Demand Draft 3. (You may also hand over the acceptance letter and demand draft in person at the IIITB campus and obtain due acknowledgement). Since the time left for making the payment is limited, candidate may also deposit the prescribed acceptance fee through NEFT directly to the institute bank account and inform through e-mail to admissions@iiitb.ac.in with a scanned copy of the transaction confirmation from the bank for tracking the payment. After taking into account an acceptance fee of Rs. 75,000, you will be required to pay the balance amount of Rs. 60,000/- on the day of joining towards the first semester fee and hostel charges etc. The estimate of living expenses is indicated in Annexure I. Since the program is very demanding, and classes, tutorials and laboratory sessions often extend beyond regular working hours and during the weekends, staying at the Hostel within the campus and using the hostel services are mandatory. ESTIMATE OF LIVING EXPENSES PER SEMESTER Hostel Room Rent and Electrical Charges @ Rs. 3,000/- P.M. for six months Rs. 18,000

Caution Deposit for Hostel Rs. 15,000 (Refundable after completing the course) Boarding Charges for six months Boarding charges include lunch and dinner and breakfast @ Rs3,500/- per month (under revision) Rs. 21,000 Boarding charges are variable according to the decisions of mess committee. INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP: The Institute expects to offer about 5 scholarships (out of about 60 students admitted) to meritorious students joining the iMTech programme. The scholarship amount covers almost all student expenses over the duration of their program. The selection for these scholarships is carried out by the IIITB scholarship committee. ASSISTANCE DURING INTERNSHIP: The Institute's internship programme allows students to spend one whole semester in the industry working on live projects prior to graduation. The companies provide students with stipends, not less than Rs 15,000/- for the duration of the internship and also the opportunity to work with their teams, at their premises, on challenging real-life projects. The internship programme is an avenue for placement, as many interns who perform well may be considered for job offers by the companies.
