Dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago, yet our fascination with them grows.

More dinosaur species have been discovered in the past couple of decades than during the rest of their study put together. Only recently, a British expedition to the Sahara desert discovered the leg bone of a huge new plant-eating sauropod, just as scientists in China were unveiling the world's biggest deposit of dinosaur bones in the old city of Zhucheng. So, amid the 200th anniversary celebrations of Charles Darwin's birth this week, dinosaurs should be hailed as ambassadors for evolution - The Guardian News (UK), Feb. 7, 2009 1. Is that how we got here? Are we related to the dinosaurs in the far distant past? What does the Bible say about our origins?

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) Lifes Three Great Questions: 1. Where did I come from? 2. Why am I here? 3. Where am I going? Evolution claims to have the answer to the first question, but offers us little help in answering the second question, and no hope or assurance in answering the third. If we just evolved up from the monkeys, then life is nothing more than a meaningless pause between two empty eternities, and we have no hope beyond the grave. 2. FIVE facts that prove the Bible true: 1) Cohesive Unity

. The Bible means the Book. It is comprised of 66 books or parts of books, written over a period of nearly 1,600 years, written by some 40 different authors, most of whom did not know each other, and yet it harmonizes! We cannot even get 40 people today to write on ONE topic and have harmony!

2) Claims inspiration by God

. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

3) Evidence from Archeology

. One example is the discovery of the city of Ebla in northern Syria in 1975. An entire library of some 15,000 clay tablets or fragments, was found as this ancient city was unearthed. The tablets dated back to around 2,500 BC. There, inscribed on the clay tablets of Ebla, archeologists read about creation, the universal flood, and Bible names and places such as, Esau, Abraham, Israel, Sinai, & Jerusalem. They also read on the clay tablets about two sin cities called Sodom and Gomorrah. Another amazing archeological discovery was made in the year 2000 by Alvis Delk. The following is a picture of what he discovered, which disproves the evolutionary theory of the dinosaurs living millions of years before humans. This archeological discovery proves that they lived together. "Co-occurrence of men and dinosaurs. Such an association would dispel an Earth with vast antiquity. The entire history of creation, including the day of rest, could be accommodated in the seven biblical days of the Genesis myth. Evolution would be vanquished." (Isaiah 46:9,10) In the image of Daniel chapter 2, God outlined the history of world empires from the days of Daniel in Babylon, down to the end of time. Looking back over 2,500 years of history today, we can see how accurately this Divine blueprint given in Bible prophecy, has been fulfilled. 5) Changes Lives
. The creative energy that called the worlds into existence is in the word of God. This word imparts power; it begets life. Every command is a promise; accepted by the will, received into the soul, it brings with it the life of the Infinite One. (Education, p. 126) An atheist visited a former cannibal island, and as he walked into a village, he saw the villagers reading the Bible, and heard them singing the Christian hymns. The atheist sneered, Oh you foolish villagers! The missionary has been here and deceived you. Dont you know that the Bible is a book of fables and fairy-tales? No intelligent person in our modern world, believes in the Bible any more.

The old chief of the village went over to the atheist and, pointing to some large pots sitting in the corner of the village, said, Sir. Do you see those big pots over there? We used to cook human flesh in those pots. If it were not for the Bible sir, you would be in one of those pots right now, and we would be cooking you for supper! The atheist was silenced, and said nothing more against the Bible during his visit to the village! . In August of 1997, Science magazine had an article entitled, Science and God: A Warming Trend? The article stated: The fact that the universe exhibits many features that foster organic lifesuch as precisely those physical constants that result in planets and long-lived starsalso has led some scientists to speculate that some divine influence may be present. Michael Behe, Professor of Biochemistry at Lehigh University, claims that over the past decades, biochemical discoveries at the nano-scale have thrown Darwins theory of evolutions into an unresolved crisis. It simply cannot account for the molecular complexity of life. Recent advances in science have in fact discovered evidence of intelligent design, though sociological and philosophical factors have caused this discovery to be repressed. (www.truthinscience) Another scientific evidence of the Bibles truthfulness, concerns the young age of the earth. Nearly all scientists believe that the earth and the moon are the same age. In the 1950s, R.A. Lyttleton, a highly respected astronomer, said this: The lunar surface is exposed to direct sunlight, and strong ultraviolet light and X-rays [from the sun] can destroy the surface layers of exposed rock and reduce them to dust at the rate of a few ten-thousandths of an inch per year. But even this minute amount could, during the age of the moon, be sufficient to form a layer over it several miles deep. (R.A. Lyttleton, quoted in R. However, when the Apollo 11 astronauts landed on the moon, the found that there is not over 5 - 8 cm of dust on the moon! That is the amount one would expect if the moon were about 60008000 years old! Again, science confirms the accuracy of the Bible!
