Five-Year Integrated Programme in Master in Business Management (MBM) 2013-18 Batch Commencing in _____ 2013 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 1. What is the name of the programme and duration? Name of the programme is Integrated Programme in Master in Business Management(MBM) and is a five year regular and fulltime academic program me. 2. What certificate will be issued and by whom? Upon successful completion of all program requirements participants will be issued the Degree of Master in Business Management by Gujarat University. 3. What are the academic content of the programme and programme structure? Please refer to the Institute website at www.gujaratuniversity.org.in for more information. 4. What are the minimum eligibility conditions for admission? The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary/ XII Std./ +2 Level/ equivalent examination from any of the recognized central or state boards in Science & Commerce with English as a subject. 5. Is it necessary to submit standard X and XII examination pass certificate/grade sheet from a recognized board? Yes, it is required that candidates submit attested copies of all the certificates (marksheets/gradesheets, passing certificates etc) of standard X and XII examinations.

6. What is the admission criteria and selection process? The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in XII & X standard result. 7. Is attendance of classes compulsory? Yes, attendance of classes is compulsory. 8. Who will be the Faculty for the programme? Faculty will be from well known colleges from Ahmedabad, from industry, eminent academicians, scholars of repute, Government Officers and, socially reputed leaders. 9. What are the tuition fee, payment schedule and other fee structure? Tuition fee is Rs. 15,000/- per semester for first three years and Rs. 25,000/- per semester for the last two years. The tuition fee is payable in term wise. The tuition fee includes access to the library and computer lab. 10. What is the maximum intake and reservation scheme? The proposed intake is limited to 150 candidates and government of India reservation norms will be followed for admission. 11. Will study material for courses be provided?
