About us
MyDOTA 2 MOD project was the idea of Silver Dota MOD. This project transforms your Warcraft III into DOTA 2 look alike. MyDOTA 2 MOD is now working together with MeSH DOTA.With the help of MeSH DOTA, MyDOTA 2 MOD will improve its MOD.This project was proposed because of Mr. Kittikoon Tepchan's DOTA HQ work, his work is truly anticipated, sophisticated and HIGH QUALITY, he wants to let the gamers/players t feel like they were just like playing DOTA 2. MyDOTA 2 MOD was developed for low end PC users, so that they can experience DOTA 2 MOD even they have low end computers. TEAM AHO (the group where Silver Dota MOD belong) was the one responsible on developing MyDOTA 2 MOD Installer and patcher. And also TEAM AHO just gathered all these stuffs in PlayDotA.com and compiled it then finalized and finally released a Full Installer. Difference between MyDOTA 2 Version 1 and MyDOTA 2 Version 2.

*MyDotA 2 Version 1 obviously its a beta version of the MOD, totally its not smooth and finished well. If it will be compared to Version 2, the modified stuffs inside of it, is about 40% of the total conversion.

*MyDotA 2 Version 2- here on this version, Team AHO Revised all the stuffs inside Version 1, including the HUD, Hero Glows, Skills, Doodads, Buildings, Announcers, Main Screen, Maps, etc. It is the latest version of TEAM AHO.

How to Download and Install MyDOTA 2 Version 2 Full Installer?

1. Go to this Website www.mydotatwo.webs.com 2. Click on the Download Tab

3. Scroll down and you will see this:

4.Under MyDotA 2 Version 2 Download you will see a menu boxes.

*Full Installer- it contains the setup of MyDOTA 2 Version 2. Inside the Setup, it contains Warcraft III that is already MODDED, it means that the whole file is modded and its already DOTA 2 look alike.

*Parts Installer-it is a part-by-part installer, contains 11 parts and need to download all parts. It contains the modded files only, and you are required to inject it inside your Warcraft III folder.

*Version 2 Patch Updates-contains the Patch Update for MyDotA 2 Version 2.

*Version 2 Changelogs- contains the changelogs of MyDOTA 2 MOD Version 2. *How to Install- Video tutorials and .txt guides.

*Tournament Maps- contains 6.78c maps and will be updated when Icefrog release again.

How to Install MyDOTA 2 Version 2 Full Installer?

1. When youre already on the Latest Version column, point your mouse above Full Installer and two sub-menus will pop up, the Mirror link 1 and the Mirror link 2. Choose only 1 Mirror link, then click it.

2. After you click one of the Mirror links. It will open a new tab on your browser. Then it will redirect you to adf.ly page, (adf.ly is a link shrinker, so dont be afraid to it.), then wait for 5 second then click Skip Ad

3. After clicking Skip Ad, it will redirect you to the Mediafire or any upload sites where we upload our files. When youre download is ready click Download.

4. Your download contains a torrent file. You need to download any torrent client such as Bittorrent, uTorrent etc., then locate where your downloaded file was placed. Double click the torrent file, and your torrent client should pop-up and asking you to download that file, click OK. Then it should download right now.

5. After you download, open up your torrent client then right click on the file, then click Open Containing folder, then it will redirect you to the folder where the file located. You need to see this file on the folder.

6. Double click MyDOTA 2 setup then youre now ready to install. 7. After Double clicking the file, a message box will pop-up and ask you what language you will use during Installation.

8. After Selecting your language. It should be like this. Then Click Next.

9. After clicking Next. Read the Changelogs, click Next

10. Read the intructions, click Install for anyone using this computer, then click Next

11. Choose where to install MyDOTA 2, the default destination directory is C:\Program Files\MyDotA 2 , if you want to change its destination directory click browse and choose where to install MyDOTA 2. Then click Next.

12. Check Do not create a program group in the Start Menu Then click Next.

Then Click Next again, then the installation begins.

14. After the installation open the folder where MyDOTA 2 Version 2 installed. Then Double click Frozen Throne.exe (you will notice that, its icon changed and becomes DOTA 2 icon). Then youre DONE!!! Congratulations!

How to Download and Install MyDOTA 2 Version 2 Parts Installer?

1. On the Download page, Latest Version column, place your mouse cursor above the Parts Installer (AVAILABLE) then sub menus will pop-up, you need to download all 11 parts. Each part is about 200MB.

2. Click 1 part, then it will redirect you to Adf.ly (adf.ly is a link shrinker, so dont be afraid to it.). Wait for 5 seconds and Click Skip Ad. Do it also to the other parts After clicking skip ad it will redirect you to Mediafire or Dropbox, Click download and your file will begin to download. 3. After downloading 11 parts, go to its folder, 11 parts should be on the same folder, unless youll encounter errors while installing.

4. As you can see its file type is 001, 002, 003 and so on. (dont worry if you see Part 11 is 76MB only, its ok). When you click one of the files, you cannot open it.

5. Now, you need to combine them all to make it as one, you need to download HJSPLIT, go to its website, www.hjsplit.org then download HJSPLIT.zip. After downloading open the zip file.

6. Double click hjsplit.exe.

7. And after you double click the .exe file it should look like this.

8. Click Join, after clicking Join you will see this.

9. Click on Input File. 10. After Clicking Input File, you need to locate wheres the 11 parts. Click Patch Setup.exe.001 then Open

11. Then click Start. It should be starting now. 12. After the joining process, locate the setup file. It depends where you assigned it. Just like this. 13. When youre done locating the Patch Setup.exe, double click it.

14. After double clicking, you need to select language upon installation.

15. After choosing/selecting language, installer setup will begin. a. Click Next

b. Read the changelogs, then click Next

16. Select Install for anyone using this computer, then click Next

17. On your destination directory, you must set it on Warcraft III (the one that is not modded, or using, if you want to be safe, backup your Warcraft III). C:\Program Files\Warcraft III

18. Click Next, then it will start Installation.

19. After the setup done installing, go to your Warcraft III folder, then you will see the changes.Double Click the Dota 2 icon. Then youre Ready to play.

How to transform MyDOTA 2 Version 1 to Version 2?

*This Procedure is just like the methods used in Parts Installer of MyDOTA 2 Version 2. Just Download Parts Installer.

Download all 11 parts. Then do the same installation guides on Parts Installer of MyDOTA 2 Version 2.

How to update MyDotA 2 Version 2?

1.Go to this website www.mydotatwo.webs.com 2.Click Download, then scroll down, you will see a menu tabs there,Click on MyDotA 2 Updates.

3.Download all 3 parts, after you download locate them later.

Installation: Step 1: After you you locate them you will see these parts, Step 2:As you notice its on .DOCX files which can be open in Microsoft Word. Now we need to rename the parts to .RAR.

Step 3: Right click any of the parts. Step 4.Click Rename.

Step 5:Erase .docx (it is the file type of the part) Step 6:Change it to .rar Step 7:Hit enter and windows will pop-up and ask your permission to rename the file. Step 8:Click Yes and the first part will be renamed.

Step 9: Rename all the files and you will have this.

Step 10: If you have winrar or 7-zip you can open these files, now double click MyDotA 2 MOD Update_1, then click Extract To. Step 11: A window will pop up and ask you where to extract the file, now this is optional you can extract the file anywhere in your computer, for now I will extract the file on my desktop. After choosing, click OK. And it will automatically extract the files as well as part 2 and part 3.

Step 11.a: After you extract the file, locate where it was extracted, then you will see MyDotA 2 MOD Update_1.exe double click that file and an installation setup will pop-up. Step 12: Click Next Step 13:Read the Changelogs, then click Next

Step 14:Selecting the directory, click browse and locate where is your MyDotA 2 MOD folder Step 15:After you locate the folder wherein MyDotA 2 Mod installed, click it. Step 16: Click OK

Step 17: Remove or erase INSTALL INSIDE YOUR MYDOTA 2 MOD FOLDER Step 18: Click Next

Step 19: Check Dont Create a Program Group

Step 20: Check if the directory is correct. Then Click Install.

Step 21: Then update will process, wait until it says finish installation, then your MyDotA 2 MOD is now updated.

Troubleshoot a problem:
*How to fix installation error? 1. Have you experience this kind of error while installing MyDOTA 2 Version 2?

Causes: a. Corrupted file b. Parts are not in the same folder c. Didnt download all parts Fix: a. Re-download the files again. b. Locate all the downloaded files, then place it all on the same folder.

* How to fix Startup Error 1. Frozen Thone.exe wont start, and an error occur (FATAL ERROR). Fix: a. Go to your Warcraft III folder/MyDOTA 2 Version 2 Folder, then find Warcraft III Advanced Settings. Then follow these video settings: Resolution: 1024x768 Color Depth: 16 bit Gamma: 50 Refresh Rate: 60 Max FPS: 200 Model Detail: High Animation: Low Texture Quality: High Particles: Low Lights: Low Spell Details: Low Unit Shadows: Off Occlusion: Off b. Now it should be working now. Run again your Frozen Throne.exe

*How to fix No Sounds/Muted -Go to your settings, Sounds then uncheck 3D audio position. Then restart your Warcraft III, and should be working now. *How to fix MSVCR100.dll Error
I would install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable dll that is needed for projects built with Visual Studio 2010. Download the files below depending on your operating system version. I would install all versions as they may be needed for different programs. Check in Programs and Features, do you show that you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable? If not, download from the links here.
