The company is a Pretoria based start-up which, in its early phases focuses on offering renovation services. It is made up of five (5) partners who will make up the top and middle management structures, later employing operational workers to help with daily projects. The companys immediate short term goal is to capture renovation projects around local municipality, with the mid-term goal being out to branch to provincial projects and finally the entire Southern hemisphere of Africa as the long term goal. Our Services have been formed to meet the growing need for renovations in the property development market. 2. Business Description The company will be trading under a Renovations title and is yet to be registered; falling under the services sector within constructions. The business was initiated after the realisation of the growth potential in the property development markets within South Africa. A niche in the renovations of old housing and newly constructed business properties allows for great potential for the services we aim to offer. The business is located in Pretoria under the 0183 zone, and already offers the services on a freelance basis to local households and small private businesses. These freelance projects have been handled to great success, with each allowing us a chance to better our skills and runtime, and refine the marketing tools needed to run the business profitably. For this reason, we believe the company is finally ready to expand to much broader markets, with renovation projects around local municipality

3. Industry The current renovations industry in South Africa is looking positive, having a fair growth margin within the last five years due to constructions pushing up the countrys GDP. This can be verified with the department of human settlements thus the industry is expected to grow further into the future especially regarding the amount of investment South Africa has received after the success of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and the countrys new partnership with the BRICS association.

Although there may be weaknesses in market definiteness, opportunity arises from it for a company that is clear on its purpose, and adapts correct marketing tools to turn prospects into long-term clients. 4. Service Definition The company has a service mix of: Floor Tiling The affixing of tiles for functional or decorative use on floor surfaces. Bathroom Tiling The affixing for decorative use on wall surfaces and around bathroom units. Wall Cladding The affixing of decorative material on interior or exterior walls.
