NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 

Mini­Bid Prequalification Conference
California State University, San Bernardino

California State University, San Bernardino is seeking licensed contractors to establish and increase a list
of qualified contractors to perform repetitive special repair work and renovation Public Works projects on
an as needed basis beginning July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. The dollar value of each project may
range from $5,000.00 to $399,999.00. A conference is being held to provide detailed information on the
prequalification process. Contractors interested in being listed will be required to attend the mandatory
Conference to be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, 9am – 12pm, California State University, San
Bernardino, Santos Manuel Student Union Theater, 5500 University Parkway, San Bernardino, CA 92407.
A $5.00 parking permit is required and may be purchased at Parking Information Booth at the campus
main entrance.

The University has an established list of prequalified contractors for project consideration and wishes to
enhance the list. Previously prequalified contractors from last year’s conference need not attend. The
University will not advertise this work on a project-by-project basis, but will select from prequalified
attendees to bid on individual projects. This will be the only advertisement regarding the subject projects.
Prequalification is not a guarantee of work.

These Public Works projects will require a formal bidding process and DVBE compliance. All projects
must be prevailing wage without exception. Contractors to whom the bid is awarded must be able to
readily mobilize and begin work on such projects within a short timeframe, ten (10) to fifteen (15) calendar
days. Contractors shall provide any required permits, bonds and insurance as established by project value.

Licensed contractors interested in participating from this list for these projects must attend this mandatory
conference held Tuesday, June 23, 2009 to obtain prequalification information and packet. Registration to
