Carter was born Linda Jean Crdova Carter in Phoenix, Arizona. Her father, Colby Carter is an Irish American, and her mother, Juana Crdova, is of Spanish ancestry.
Raquel Welch (born September 5, 1940) is a Golden Globe-winning American actress who reached fame during the 1960s. She is regarded as one of the most indelible sex symbols in American film history. Welch, oldest of three children, was born Jo Raquel Tejada in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Josepha Sarah (ne Hall) and Armando Carlos Tejada Urquizo. Her father, who immigrated from La Paz, Bolivia, was an aerospace engineer of Spanish-Castilian descent; her mother was an Irish-American. Welch is a relative of the only female president of Bolivia, Lydia Gueiler Tejada.

Preysler was born in the wealthy neighborhood of San Lorenzo, Manila, Philippines, the third of six children to a rich business Filipino family.
Lou Diamond Phillips (born February 17, 1962) is an American film and television actor. Phillips was born Lou Diamond Upchurch at the Subic Bay Naval Station in the Philippines, the son of Lucita and Gerald Upchurch, a naval officer. His father was an American of Scottish-Irish, Hawaiian and Cherokee descent and his mother was a Filipina of Spanish, Chinese and Japanese descent. Phillips was named after Marine legend Lou Diamond and adopted his surname, "Phillips", from his stepfather.
Anthony Quinn was born Antonio Rodolfo Quinn Oaxaca in Chihuahua, Mexico in the middle of the Mexican revolution. His father, Frank "Francisco" Quinn, was born in Mexico from a Mexican mother and an Irish father. Joe Bataan (also spelled Batan) (born 1942 in Spanish Harlem, New York City) is an AfroFilipino American Latin R&B musician from New York. He was born Bataan Nitollano and grew up in the 103rd and Lexington part of East Harlem where he briefly lead the Dragons, a local Puerto Rican street gang before being sent to the Coxsackie Correctional Facility to serve time for a stolen car charge. Upon his release in 1965, he turned his attention to music and formed his first band, Joe Bataan and the Latin Swingers. Bataan was influenced by two musical styles: the Latin boogaloo and African American doo-wop. Though Bataan was neither the first nor only artist to combine doo-wop-style singing with Latin rhythms, his talent for it drew the attention of Fania Records. Dante Basco (Dant Basco) (born August 29, 1975) is a Filipino actor. In his early years, he was part of the Streat Freaks breakdancing crew. When he got into acting, he started taking on minor roles in television. He later appeared in a substantial role in Steven Spielberg's 1991 film Hook with Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman, as Rufio, the charismatic red-stripe-haired leader of the Lost Boys. The punk band Rufio is named after this character, as are an L.A street gang who are notorious for their heated clashes with rival gang "the Hooks". Rita Hayworth (October 17, 1918 May 14, 1987), was an American actress of Spanish and Anglo-Irish descent who reached fame during the 1940s as the era's leading sex symbol. Although there was prejudice against Hispanic actors at the time, Hayworth is now widely regarded to be one of the first Hispanic-American "sex goddess" of "Golden Age" Hollywood with leading roles in film.

Carlos Bulosan was born in the Philippines in a rural village of Mangusmana, near the town of Binaknan (Pangasinan province, Luzon Island).
Patricia Torres Ray (born 1964 in Pasto, Colombia) is a DFL State Senator from Minnesota, representing Senate District 62 in southeast Minneapolis. Ray was elected to the open seat in 2006, replacing the retiring Wes Skoglund. She is the first Hispanic American to be elected to the Minnesota State Senate.
Marilyn Milian, Esq. (born May 1, 1961 in Queens, New York) is a former Florida state circuit court judge and currently presides over the American television program The People's Court. She is the first female judge to preside over the long-running show and the first Hispanic judge to sit on the bench of any English language television court show. On September 20, 2006, she received the "Groundbreaking Latina of the Year" award from Catalina magazine and the National Association of Latina Leaders. Born to Cuban parents, Milian is originally from Queens, NY. Her family moved to Miami when she was eight years old. Cristina Saralegui (born January 29, 1948 in Havana, Cuba) is a journalist, talk show host and actress. Following Fidel Castro's rise to power in Cuba, Saralegui fled with her family to Miami in 1960 at the age of 12.

Michael Copon was born in Chesapeake, Virginia on November 13, 1982 to a Filipino American father and a German American mother. He was cast by the Fox Kids Network as Blue Power Ranger, Lucas, on Power Rangers Time Force less than a year after he graduated from Deep Creek High School in 2001. Chang-Diaz was born in San Jos, Costa Rica to a father of Chinese and Spanish descent and a Spanish Costa Rican mother (both Costa Rican-born) and moved to the United States to finish his high school education. Henry Gabriel Cisneros (born June 11, 1947) is an American politician, businessman, and community leader. He was the first person of Hispanic background elected as mayor of a large American city, and later served as U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1993 to 1997. He left public office after pleading guilty to making false statements to federal officials.
Miguel Eladio "LA" Lpez-Alegra is an American astronaut and a veteran of three space shuttle missions and one International Space Station mission. Miguel Lpez-Alegra, born in Madrid (Spain) and raised in Mission Viejo, California, joined the United States Navy and earned engineering degrees in 1980 and 1988 from the Naval Academy and the Naval Postgraduate School.

He was the 45th Lieutenant Governor of California, a former Speaker of the State Assembly and a member of the Democratic Party. Jose Mariano Hernndez (August 4, 1793June 8, 1857) was the first Hispanic American to serve in the United States Congress and was the first Delegate from the Florida Territory. He served from September 1822 to March 1823. Hernndez was born in St. Augustine, Florida when it was still a Spanish colony. After his Congressional service, he joined the United States Army and fought in the (Second) Seminole War in Florida, aiding in the capture of Chief Osceola. He retired with the rank of Brigadier General. He was an unsuccessful Whig candidate for the United States Senate in 1845.
