Getting Started
Welcome to 3DA Meta Data Exporter for Revit 2014!
Share and Analyze Digital Data 3DA software has been designed to work the way architects and designers think, developing a higherquality product, while supporting accurate architectural designs. Using 3DA tools, specifically built for provision of Building Information Modeling workflows, one can capture and analyze concepts to maintain a strong vision throughout design, documentation, and construction. Key Benefits Parameter Usage Analyze & Accuracy Physical Building Material Take-off Visualization Enhancements Export from Revit to Excel Parametric Components Parametric Components, also known as families, are the basis for all building components designed in Revit. They offer an open, graphical system for design and form making as well as the ability to display design at very detailed levels. Use Parametric Components for the most elaborate assemblies, such as cabinets and other equipment, as well as the most basic building parts, such as walls and columns. Best of all, these can now be viewed and selected as individual components or exported in full from the 3D view port. Working with Clients Construction Modeling Construction modeling with 3DA software helps develop better construction insight from the 3D design. Prepare shop drawings for fabrication more easily with features that give you greater flexibility in documenting assemblies of elements. Interoperability 3DA software offers interoperability features with in suite bundles, enabling you to work more efficiently with members of your extended project team. 3DA product can export your building model or site information, complete with critical metadata, to Excel software which offers the ability to visualize and now analyze 3D BIM models for dependable and configurable workflow and deliverables. Physical Building Materials Exported to Excel Physical materials improves efficiency of BIM-based building workflows by assigning properties to the building envelope. Element value defined within Revit building elements can now be exported to Excel with one button for downstream building information for analysis. Integrated features within MDEx for Revit helps to quickly understand methods, and materials to realize a projects design data and improve project delivery.
