Having produced over 50 new works, Ballet Victoria is starting its eleventh year with 2 world premieres.

Art Eco
Ballet Victoria is emerging as a significant force in Victoria, making a passionate artistic and economic contribution. As a major stakeholder in the community, we have developed an artistic, economic and ecological approach to contribute in a responsible and creative manner to the well being of the communitys ecosystem. We call this strategy Art Eco; as it is based on the idea that every art project can create economic, ecologic, and artistic value.

The artistic team is exploring new territory. Music creates an uncompromising range of choreographies, from Baroque music to Rock, from Opera to folk songs. The result: pure magic. The experience: fascinating.

2013/2014 Program
Frankenstein The monster is Victor Frankensteins creation, assembled from old body parts and strange chemicals, animated by a mysterious spark. He enters life as a grotesque character but with the mind of a newborn. Abandoned by his creator and confused, he tries to integrate himself into society, only to be shunned universally. Ballet Victoria brings this gothic tale to life with a touching twist and imaginative choreography: mixing classical and contemporary movements and music.
