YOUTHWORKS MISSION TRIP

From June 30 through July 5, people from our Church are participating in the Youthworks Summer Mission Trip in Eastern Virginia. There they will meet with youth groups from other churches from New Jersey and other places. A visit to the Eastern Shore of Virginia and the town of Onancock offers a historic setting, serene lifestyle and abundant outdoor recreation. Fishing and birdwatching are popular pastimes for both residents and visitors. Despite the natural beauty of the area, typical rural struggles, such as unemployment, exist. A large number of retirees moving to the area also have driven up home prices, causing affordable housing challenges. Our group will have an opportunity to complete home improvement projects and serve local children while they enjoy the simple pleasures of Gods creation. They will make a presentation in worship on Sunday, July 7. Participating in the Mission Workcamp are: Miranda Brady Jona Brown Emily Selfridge John Gilliland Hannah Kruger Tyler Bell Kaitlyn Bell Paige Schreffler Amber Selfridge Emma Scuotequazza Adult Leaders Steve Arn Carol Schreffler Jami Lyn Brady

GHANA MISSION PARTNERSHIP EMAIL

Hello, I hope all is well with you? We are wonderful by God's Good Grace and Mercy. It's been a while since we communicated. My mum has been ill for some time now that is why you have not heard from me lately. Glory to God that she is recovering and would soon go back to work.
I am almost done with my National Service and it has been a hectic yet educative journey. I would be done by August of this year. I plan to write the GRE test of which i would start classes in preparation towards the test on 1st June, 2013. I pray God sees me through successfully. Passing this test would enable me get full scholarship from an American University to pursue a course of my choice abroad, probably in Public Health (MPH). I would love to hear from you soon. Greetings from my family to you. My love to all. Stay blessed.
