1. All exams will be a mix of multiple choice, short answer and essay questions drawing on material from required readings, lectures, and sections. 2. The raw scores from the components of assessment outlined above will be adjusted to give a median in the B- to B range. In previous versions of this course approximately 20-25% of grades were A- or higher and 5-10% were Fs. 3. Section assignments will receive scores from 0-4. Late assignments lose one point for every 24 hours (or part thereof) after the deadline (i.e. 1 hour late or 23 hours late is one point less).
