Mission/Core purpose of the Job: Provide quality support to internal and external users experiencing value-added services (VAS) and SDP applications and systems Contribute to the design, implementation, management and optimization of all GSM VAS, SDP and related services Manage VAS systems incidents Coordinate with internal development team to deploy, support and maintain VAS and SDP applications. Key Performance Areas:Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's) Key Tasks: Support on-site and remotely VAS and SDP applications users. Maintain effective communication with VAS and SDP applications users. Train efficiently users, collect necessary user manuals and maintain their skill level on supported applications. Assist users into translating their needs into quantifiable business requirements. Provide authorized users with periodical and on-demand reports. Contribute to business intelligence (BI) by conceptualising valuable data reports. Participate to applications/systems delivery, deployment, evolution and maintenance projects. Manage reported and non-reported incidents (anomalies, faults, performance). Monitor VAS and SDP applications/systems availability, reliability, performance and support Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Listen carefully to users, understand and defend their needs, provide them with quality support and satisfy their requirements. Provide support on Special Projects as needed by the Supervisor SDP& VAS products and Applications Manager. Any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor SDP& VAS that fall within the scope of competence, skills and training of the incumbent. Role Dependencies: Interface with the systems vendors. Interface with the IT Applications team regarding systems integration and incidents management. Interface with the Customer Care, Marketing, Finance, and Technical divisions regarding business requirements.

Minimum Requirements Education: Computer Engineering or Computer Science Degree from a Reputable University.

Experience: Minimum of 1 yearexperience working in the area of IT Applications Support in the Telecommunication Industry.

Training: VAS and e-biz applications/systems Trainings spanning critical system areas. Quality Assurance and Testing Trainings covering industry standards methodologies, techniques and best practices.

Competencies Knowledge: Good knowledge in database design and monitoring. Good skills in SQL language and programming Experience in SDP Application Support. Experience in Web-Based Application Support. Experience in Application Quality Assurance and Testing. Familiarity with VAS, web and e-business Systems Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer focused services skills. Able to work unsupervised and to demanding users needs. Analytical, innovative and creative thinker.
