Most of the plays of Broadway are about the social development such as women empowerment, poverty eradication etc. For example The Drama ACT ONE showcased the director's impoverished childhood and his determined struggle to escape poverty and forge a career in the theatre. This play brought the awareness about poverty among the people. Such shows are always encouraged by viewers. If the same is introduced in our country, it could lead to awareness among the people about our social concerns and the country may lead to development at a faster pace. This collaboration is also of greater economic importance. It helps the exchange of ideas between Indian entertainment industry and the Broadway which in turn leads to greater revenue to India.
