God Has Heard Your Prayer Pastor Sean Pinder I love encouraging people.

You need to understand that your praying before God is not vain. Oh, yes, the devil tries to make you think its vain. He tries to make you think youre not getting anywhere. But thats why the devils fighting you; you are getting somewhere And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. (1 John 5:14) God doesnt want you to doubt whether your prayer is going to be answered or not. Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name If its not His will, Hell tell you. Hes not going to keep you waiting. When Moses asked about going into the Promised Land, God said, No. When Paul asked Him three times to remove the thorn in his flesh, God said, Its not my will to take it away. So, if He doesnt tell you No, keep on praying. If He tells you no, drop it, forget about it, and move on. But if He doesnt, you have every right to keep pressing the matter. If we ask any thing according to His will Some things arent plain in the Scriptures. How do you know if its the will of God, Pastor Sean? If the Holy Ghost is urging you to pray for something, then it is the will of God. Hes urging you to ask for it because God wants to grant it. 1 Cor. 2:10 says, for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. You dont have a demon living in you; the Holy Ghost lives in you. So, if its not clear in the Bible but

the Holy Ghost is urging you to pray about something, it is the will of God. He guides us into all truth; Hes not going to lead you against God. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. (1 John 5:15) How do you know you have something from God? Have you ever been praying and praying, and you know when God heard you? Thats when you dont pray about it no more; when you know it went through and you know Gods about to act. Then, if you want to go on talking to God about it, thats when it becomes the prayer of doubt. If you ask me for $100.00 and I give it to you, what are you going to stick around me still asking about the $100.00 for? If anything, you ought to start thanking me for it, am I right? Thats when prayer changes. When you know Gods heard and the answers been released, then you go into a prayer of thanksgiving. Your prayer is not in vain. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. (Psalms 34:1-4) This is why David said he was going to start exalting His name; he sought the Lord and the Lord heard him. Once you know God heard your prayer, you can start thanking God because you know

somethings about to happen. [He] delivered me from all my fears. God has heard your prayer. Jesus said, Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:24). How can you be happy when you know the situation in your life is desperate? You are seeking God and seeking God, and theres no answer? Ask so you can get the answer so that your joy can be full. Dont play spiritual. How can you be happy when you know your familys about to split hell wide open? Ask so your joy can be full. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. (Psalm 34:6) Once God hears your prayers, the poor situation has to change. How many troubles does He save us out of? All of them. Why dont you just make a big list of all your troubles? God is going to deliver you from every single one of them, I dont care how big or how small they are. The Holy Ghost is encouraging your faith. If the answer to your prayer hasnt come yet, keep praying until you know that God has heard your cry. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. (Psalm 34:15) Are you right with God? God has heard you. Thats why the devils fighting you so bad. Hes nervous because he knows that, when the answer to your prayer comes, its going to thrust you into your destiny. He knows its going to make you one bad dude; that the anointing is going to increase in your life.

This is a nation-shaking anointing. This is a continentshaking anointing. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17) He delivers them from ALL their troubles. Close your eyes for couple of minutes. Think about some of the worst troubles and situations you are faced with. God has heard you and Hes about to deliver you out of every single one of them. Not some, but all. Hes a prayer-answering God. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19) I remember the first time this revelation exploded in my life. Just because everything is working against you, that doesnt mean youre in sin. Its a sure sign that youre on the right track. The devils saying, Thats why everythings going wrong. Thats why youre struggling here. Thats why you cant pay this. Its because you arent right with God. Devil, you are a liar! I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. (Psalm 3:4) Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer. (Psalms 6:8-9) LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear. (Psalm 10:17)

Even your hearts desire has come up before God as a prayer. He has even heard the desire in your heart. Do you know what a real desire is? Its something you cant shake. You go to bed, and youre tossing and turning. Its on your mind constantly. Youre walking down the street, not thinking about anything, and, all of a sudden, you start praying it out. Thats a real desire. Mark 11:24 says, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Jesus said, Dont talk to me about anything else. Dont talk to me about something that isnt important to you. If its not important to you, its not going to touch me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. (Psalm 18:6) Have you been stressed out lately? First, we see that God hears your cry. Once He hears your cry, something happens. Verse 7 tells us what happens: Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. Do you know why it says the earth shook? Thats the manifestation. You are talking to God, Who is invisible. When the earth shakes, thats the manifestation of your prayer. Manifestation is something tangible that you can see and cant deny. Manifestation is on the way. He was wroth. God is upset. Whos messing with my child? Like He was when He heard the Israelites crying. He appeared to Moses and said, Moses, you go tell them, Not Abraham, but God is

come down to deliver them from the hands of the Egyptians. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. (Psalms 18:8-9) God has come down. Yes, he lives in you, but when I say He has come down, that is manifestation. Hes about to take action. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. (Psalm 18:17) The spirit is hindering your ministry, but so many Christians dont even realize its a demon. Its over you with a whip. As soon as you get one bill paid off, CRACK! Have you been getting some unexpected bills and thinking, This shouldnt be this much? Its a demon. The spirit of debt was a strong demon, but its over now. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. (Psalm 18:19) God delights in you. He takes pleasure in you. It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and

thy gentleness hath made me great. (Psalms 18:3235) In case you didnt know it, youre going to become great. Were going to shake this known world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise God for all the great men and women of God who are impacting this world, but the next generation is always supposed to go to the next level. Are you just willing to say, We cant do more than them? Im going to do it. Heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, see the multitudes saved, Im going to do it all. You can have that old, shabby mentality if you want to, but this old devil knows Im on the face of this earth. He knows where I live. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know (Acts 19:15) But this demon looked at the sons of Sceva and said, Who are these little dirtballs? He whipped up on them. He knows you when you mean business. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip. (Psalm 18:36) Thats the kind of God we serve. Hes into multiplying and increasing. He didnt tell Adam, Do it one by one. He said, Multiply and replenish this thing. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. (Psalms 18:37-38) When Goliath went down, he never lifted his head up again. Thats because he didnt have a head to lift up. David jumped up on top of him, took his own

sword, and hacked his head off. You only have to deal with Goliath one time. You may have some other battles, but you will only face Goliath one time. Do you know what the word Goliath means? Goliath means to strip naked; to cause people to become poor. Thats why you have to fast sometimes. Goliath was spewing out threats for forty days and forty nights. There wasnt anyone in Israel ready to face him. But, on day forty-one, he spewed out those same threats. He didnt know, however, that somebody full of the Holy Ghost had come by to bring some lunch to his brothers. You cant talk that garbage to spirit-filled people, Goliath! When David heard Goliaths threats, he said, And who is this uncircumcised Philistine? Give me a shot at him, King Saul! Listen to religion. Listen to what the people who were supposed to have all the experience had to say. Listen to what his own brothers said. You know how brothers are. Hes full of pride. We know the naughtiness of your heart. Thats what the church is saying. When someone full of the power of God is trying to come out, thats what they say. Youre full of pride. We know the naughtiness of your heart. This is not pride; this is the Holy Ghost. David said, What is going to happen for the person that takes out Goliath? King Saul said, Youre just a little boy. I have heard that before! You have to understand something, David, he said. He was too chicken to go out and fight Goliath himself. So, when he saw somebody that had some guts, he thought, Well, I have to try to discourage him because, if he goes out there, hes going to show me up. So King Saul said, Goliath is

more experienced. I dont care how much experience the devil has; he does not have more experience than the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Christ liveth in me (Gal. 2:20). Greater is he that is in [me], than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lion is roaring on the inside of you. What are you going to do? David said, Is there not a cause? The Lion was roaring on the inside of him. You cant help yourself. People will think youre crazy. Youre not crazy. Youll explode if you dont carry on. The Holy Ghost is in you, blowing on the inside of you. Every time you go to church, you say, Well, I dont want to offend the visitors. Ill try to control myself. But the Holy Ghost just comes out. You cant control Him. You cant control the anointing. You cant control the power. You cant control the resurrected Lord, Who said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matt. 28:18) For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. (Psalm 18:39) I have the devil under my feet. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me. (Psalm 18:40) Burn in hell, devil! I cant wait for that day. Im going to be right there, still shouting and carrying on. Burn, devil! You put me through too much! They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not. Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. (Psalms 18:41-42)

Thats what happens to those demons when you start fasting and praying; you beat their backsides into the ground! Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. (Psalm 18:43) This verse reminds me of Deut. 28:13: And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places. The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. (Psalms 18:44-49) Begin to thank the Lord. Something is about to happen! He heard your cry.
