According to Helen Keller;

The best and most beautiful things in the world are only Gods creations.

Gods Love cannot be defined, it can only be understood.

Different kinds of Love

The love of a Guru towards his Sishya and the Love of a Mother towards her Child is Vatsalya

Guru Sishya

Mother and Child

Just like a tortoise with its loving looks takes care of its babies on the other shore, the mere presence of the Gurus & Mothers gives a secure feeling to the younger ones.

The love between siblings is Brathruthv

Eg: The Ramayana Brothers

The love of friends and relatives is

Maitre and Aatmeeyatha

Rama and Sugriva

Kuchela & Krishna

Love for ones Country Is Desa Bhakti (Patriotism)

The Love between a wife and husband is

Anuraag

The love of a devotee towards God is

Bhakti and Aaradhana
Example:- The bhakti and aaradhana
of Radha towards Lord Krishna is the purest form of Love. It is said that out of sheer adoration for each other, Radha and Krishna attired themselves in each others complexion Radha adorning herself in blue and Krishna in Pitambar!

Peacock Story
It is very interesting to note why Lord Krishna adorns himself with a peacock feather. Amidst beautiful cloudy cool weather, the peacock unfurls its feathers and dances in ecstasy shedding tears of Joy! These droplets of tears which are swallowed by the peahen in love and adoration of its mate makes it conceive. This is pure love minus lust. That is why Lord Krishna adorns himself with a peacock feather.
To sing a Bhajan on Radheshyam

Love is a hierarchy from the lowest rung to the highest.

There are two main planes of Love

Lowest Plane Highest Plane

Adolf Hitler

Jesus Christ

Lowest Rung of Love

Human beings

Attachment with

Animals

Worldly possessions

The lowest rung of worldly love is a window opening itself to the infinite sky of meditative love.

Highest rung of Love

Love becomes your state of being

Not a relationship anymore

The spiritual heart blossoms Love is unconditional and meditative

Wherever you are, with whomsoever you are, even if you are alone, Love goes on overflowing from you.

Lowest Rung of Love 1. Its a political relationship

Highest rung of Love 1. A religious state of consciousness 2. You yourself are love. 3. Love here is bliss. It is meditative and ecstatic. 4. Highest form of love becomes the ultimate truth, i.e, God. 5. It is unconditional at this level. 6. Love lives by giving and forgiving.

2. It is addressed to somebody 3. Love here is at its primary and worldly + physical stage 4. It needs to progress to the highest form of love. 5. Love is a bargain here. 6. Self lives by getting and forgetting.

Life is nothing but an opportunity for love to blossom. It is not a question of being in Love with someone, it is a question of being Love itself.

Cultivating Love
Swami says Prema can be cultivated in two ways:

1. Considering the faults of others, however big, to be

insignificant and negligible. Considering your own faults, however insignificant

and negligible, to be big and repent about.

2. Whatever you do with yourself or others, remember God is omnipresent.
Make Love a Sadhana . an inner discipline

Different Expressions of Love

Love as Speech is Truth
Love as Action is Dharma Love as Feeling is Peace

Love as Understanding is Non-Violence - Baba

This Quotation of Baba states Love as the Undercurrent of all Human Values.

Love as Speech is Truth

A Careless word may kindle strife A Cruel word may wreck a life A Bitter word may hate instill A Brutal word may smite and kill A Gracious word may smooth the way; A Joyous word may light the day, A Timely word may lessen stress A Loving word may heal and bless

Love as Action is Dharma

A Story

Here is a real life incident from the Readers Digest which talks of a mother disabled for years and runs her living in a wheel chair, but one day on seeing her little son almost being run over by a vehicle rushes forward with love to save her son from being killed. The power of love has

such force that can enable a disabled woman capable of

performing the miracle of love.

Other examples of Love as Dharma

Lord Sriram
Dharmaraj

Love as action also cites numerous examples of

inspiring teachers who with their Love have moulded the personalities of below average children to a better position

Love as Feeling is Peace

We experience Love as feeling. We go to Prasanthi Nilayam to energise ourselves by taking the Love energy from Babas Darshans thereby deriving

peace.

Love as a feeling promotes peace and is experienced by all living beings.

Love as Understanding is Non-Violence

The forgiving nature of a mother towards her erring son is the very example of this kind of Love.
Other Examples: 1. King Ashoka, vexed with life, after experiencing bloodshed in war, gets inspired with Buddhism and adopts the method

of Love as Non-Violence

2. Martin Luther King

3. Nelson Mandela

Love as Energy
Love is synonymous with energy. People who often find themselves weak, crave for attention and Love, which is energy. The Love of our dear ones in times of distress energises us. Love as energy is the purest form for it unites all beings.

Love as Cure
Eg: Mother Teresa is known to

have cured patients more out of

Love than Medicine.

Florence Nightingale is another example of such kind of Love.

Love as Time
One of the latest definitions of

Love is Time Spent

Love is related to Time because we prioritise precious time to certain people who we Love in the worldly existence. Similarly the time spent for the service of God is True Love

Love as Duty
Duty without Love is deplorable
Duty with Love is desirable Love without duty is Divine

Love is Beyond Emotion

It is the very existence. Sadgurus like Aurobindo and Ramana Maharshi are perfect examples. Aurobindo According when to you

continuously live in the Miracle of Love you become the Oracle.

Swami says Love is my Form

because His creation, the very Prakruthi is His Love.

Love n Ego
Can you truly love another while we have an ego? Love needs great courage for the basic requirement of Love is to drop the ego. Man is very afraid

of doing so because dropping the ego seems almost like

committing suicide. Ego has become our only identity and to drop it certainly means dropping our individuality. Unless we drop ego, we cannot know our real individuality. Dropping the ego opens the door to Divine Love.

Life is Love- Enjoy it. Baba

Hridaya (Spiritual Heart) is different from Physical Heart

The main essence of all religions is universal love

Islam: You will not enter paradise until you have faith & until you love one another. Buddhism: The distinctive features of true religion are goodwill, love, truthfulness, purity & kindness. Sikhism:- On the path of love lies the glory of a thousand thrones. Hinduism:- God is love. To love & serve man is to love & serve God. Christianity:- Love God & love thy neighbour as you love thyself.

The Christian dictum is

Love thy neighbour as thyself.

We can love others only when we love ourselves.

Such love grows into prayer

Such love becomes ecstasy and through such love, you realise God.

There is only one religion, the religion of Love. Baba

Love is God
Without love, we need prayer, meditation, yoga, church, temple etc. With Love, all the above have already happened to us. Love is a rare flowering, it happens only to spiritually elevated persons.
Bhajan: Prema Iswar hai Iswar prema hai ..

Baba and His messengers

Baba propagated and transformed people through love. The loving God lovingly addressed His devotees as Embodiments of Love. The responsibility of carrying out this Mission now lies on his messengers.

We Love You . Dearest Lord

Hum ko tumse pyaar kitnaa Sai tumahi jaante Dilon ki Dhadkan tumho Sai Tum hamaare praan ho Hum ko tumse pyaar he We love you, Dearest Sai, we Love you. Neevu leni maa jeevanam Neeru leni chepa vedanam Nee sannidhe maaku pennidhi

Needu chupe praana samaanam

Neeku maaku oke bandhamu Adiye prema bandhamu
