Arco Core (punho e lminas) 68" e 32 Libras de potncia CALCULANDO TAMANHO E PESO DA PONTA DA FLECHA

Meu arco um recurvo de 32 libras de potncia, dai multipliquei a potncia por 5 grains para ter o peso total mnimo: 32x5= 160grains; Adicionei 1" minha puxada (que de 27,9")= 27,9+1=28,9 arredonda para 29" para eu ter o comprimento da flecha; A flecha Warrior tem 5,7 grains por polegada. Multipliquei os 29" pelos 5,7 grains para que eu pudesse ter uma noo do peso dela sem a ponta, 29x5,7= 165grs. Dai adicionei o peso de 100grs da ponta e cheguei aos 265grs que acho que ficam bons tanto para indoor quanto para target.

Lembrando de algumas coisas: Monte o arco sempre com o armador, nunca monte torcendo entre as pernas as laminas ou com outros mtodos estranhos. Laminas de arcos modernos podem entortar. Se entortarem para endireitar elas e um pandemnio. Como colar as pontas: Pegue a ponta com um alicate e esquente um pouco no fogo (no precisa esquentar MUITO). Passe a cola quente pela parte que fica dentro da flecha, distribua bem. Volte a esquentar um pouco a ponta da flecha (agora lambuzada com cola), para a cola ficar bem liquida. Coloque dentro do tubo da flecha e aperte contra alguma superfcie. Uma vez que encaixou ate o final coloque a flecha (ponta) num copo com gua, vai fazer aquele barulhinho clssico de coisa quente em gua. Vai ficar um pouco de cola do lado de fora, retire com uma faca que sai fcil. Pronto! flecha montada. Como montar as lminas: Nas lminas est escrito Lower e Upper, a indicao de qual lmina vai em cima e qual vai embaixo. Lembre que ao colocar as laminas no vai parecer um arco, elas ficam viradas para frente. S quando colocar a corda que o arco fica com forma de arco. Coloque as laminas aperte os parafusos (no precisa apertar com muita fora), tem que ficar firme sem mexer. Se apertar muito corre o risco de quebrar a rosca ou o prprio parafuso. Como encordoar o arco: A corda tem posio definida. O lao maior vai na parte de cima e o menor na parte de baixo. O nock point fica na parte de cima, porque a flecha deve sempre ser encaixada exatamente embaixo do nock Point. Ele j foi ajustado na posio correta. Uma vez armado o arco, deve-se medir a distancia entre a corda e o punho (onde voc apoia a mo). As distancias padro em polegadas so: Arco de 66" 8,5 polegadas Arco de 68" 9 polegadas - 22,86cm Arco de 70" 9 1/8 de polegada Provavelmente a corda estar mais perto do punho. No caso basta soltar uma ponta e dar varias voltas nela, colocar e medir novamente. Ate ela assentar deve ficar esticando um pouco (aproximadamente por dos semanas) depois disso no estica mais. Como usar o bowstringer: A parte mais fechada do bowstringer vai na lamina de baixo. A parte emborrachada na lamina de cima. Tenta colocar ele o mais perto da ponta possvel, (sempre antes da corda obviamente) porque quando deslizar a corda se ele estiver no meio no vai ter como armar.

Using a bow-stringer to string up your wood recurve or longbow is is the only safe way for you and your bow. Before beginning, make sure your bow has the top string loop (larger loop) over the top limb and the bottom loop (smaller loop) attached to the bottom limb in the grooves as shown in Figure #1.

The Large pocket fits over the bottom limb tip and the smaller pocket fits over the top limb tip as shown in Figures #3 & #4.

With the stringer installed, grab the bow by the grip, hold the bow parallel to the ground and place one foot over the center of the stringer chord as shown in Figure #5. Pull the bow upward, away from the ground and with your free hand begin to slide the top loop of the bowstring towards the grooves in the tip of the top limb as shown in Figure #6.

Slide the loop into the grooves on the tip of the top limb as shown in Figure #7.

Once the loop is secured into the grooves properly, slowly relax the tension of the stringer chord until the bowstring carries all of the tension of the limbs as shown in Figure #8.

The bow is now strung and the stringer chord is relaxed and hanging freely. Figure #9

Remove the stringer from both of the limb tips. Make sure the string loops are riding in the limb tip grooves properly and you are ready to shoot. Figure #10

To unstring the bow just follow these directions in reverse. If your stringer chord is too long and you cannot pull up the bow high enough to install or remove the string, you can tie a knot in the stringer chord to shorten it up.
