Work experience As a production engineer in ANAND ELECTRONICS- HOSUR, INDIA during 2009-2010 Intern at AMPERE ELECTRIC VEHICLE during Dec 2011 Apl 2012 As an EXECUTIVE at SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS Chennai during Aug 2012 Nov 2012 Projects Efficient discharge of battery in ups (Dec 2011 Apl 2012) This is an industry project. I did it for AMPERE ELECTRIC VEHICLE, SULUR-COIMBATORE. I

designed a multi input DC-DC Converter and Inverter, here the batteries considered as an input source should be discharged efficiently. Constant current of 10 A is discharged from batteries by using MOSFET in linear region, thus current is made constant for any voltage. Role: I have to measure those parameter and design DC-DC converter, Inverter for output 100 V, 10 A. Challenges faced: Making the hardware in small size. Boost converter in hybrid vehicle application (Aug 2011 Oct 2011) I am boosting the voltage from 12v to 220v dc. This project is to implement the boost converter with the combination of voltage multiplier cell and clamp-mode coupled inductor technique integrated with classical non-isolated DC-DC converters. I am doing this project of my own as my PG project. Existing step up dc-dc converters can provide high voltage gain, but with the penalty of high voltage and current stress, high duty-cycle operation. . The proposed hybrid topology is expected to provide high voltage gain, high efficiency, overcoming the above mentioned drawbacks and hence would be suitable for automotive application Role: Design of the hybrid topology for boost converter. Simulating and implementing in hard ware. Challenges faced: The problem i faced is initial current offshoot. If I don minimize it then it leads to damage of the parts in the circuit. So I used PI controller. Buck converter design and implementation (Jan 2011 - Mar 2011) Here we have to design the buck converter with PWM pulse of input 15V and the output of 3-7V (DC VOLTAGE). Application of this project in battery charging, SMPS etc. This is my mini project-expo in PG course. Role: My part is to find the inductance and capacitance value for the buck circuit. Hard ware design of the circuit also made by me. Challenge faced: When I chose the value randomly I could not get the output properly. So I derived those values and got the output efficiently. Digital image processing (Jan 2009 - May 2009) It is that taking the satellite image and giving some pattern to differentiate them into land, water source, vegetation etc. I did this project in digital image processing. I trained the images by giving them matrix representation and I grouped the similar pattern to tell them as a vegetation or water source etc. The application of this project was in military, image segmentation areas etc. Role: My part is to train the satellite image. Generating code in MATLAB. Challenge faced: The difficulty I faced is how to train the image by giving them matrix representation. Personal Details Name Permanent address
