PART 1-A

Setup DDNS server address in DVR with simplified GUI

1. Go to [System Configuration] [Network Configuration], make sure IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS are filled in correctly according to your network environment. 2. Enable DDNS, select [IpServer], fill www.hikvisioneurope.net in [Server Address]

PART 1-B

Setup DDNS server address in DVR with Smooth GUI

1. Go to [Configuration] [Network] [General], make sure IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS are filled in correctly according to your network environment.

Setup DDNS server address in IP camera through IE

1. Access the IP camera using internet explorer, http://IP:Port/config, example http://172.28.1.59:81/config 2. Go to [Network settings] and [Network Settings] [Advance] make sure IP address, subnet mask,

gateway, DNS are filled in correctly according to your network environment.

3. Go to [DDNS Settings], Enable DDNS, select [IpServer] and fill in [Server Name] with www.hikvisioneurope.net

Login HIKVISION EUROPE DDNS server

Type the address in your IE www.hikvisioneurope.net Register your account Login with your account Go to [Device Management] [Add] to add your first device in HIKVISION EUROPE DDNS server

5. Define [Device Alias], fill in [Device Serial No.] and [Http Port], please make sure http port is the one your forwarded in your router

Verify your settings

After following steps have been done Your device is accessible in internet (IP settings done, port forwarded in router) DDNS server info has been assigned Your device is added in HIKVISION EUROPE DDNS server

You will be able to find your device by Login www.hikvisioneurope.net with your account Go to [Device Status]
