System Requirements
The minimum hardware and software requirements for SYSTAT 13 are: Windows 7, Vista, or XP Pentium level processor 512 MB Ram (1GB recommended) 600 MB Free Disk Space (inclusive of Manual PDFs ) SVGA Adapter and Monitor Internet Explorer 7 or higher
Installing SYSTAT
Download Systat 13.1 32-bit or 64-bit Trial version from http://www.umass.edu/statdata/software/systat/systat_install.htm. This download is version 13.1. If you have Systat version 13 installed, it must be removed prior to installing 13.1. Right-click the downloaded file, Systat13ENU32.exe, or Systat13ENU64.exe and select Run as Administrator. After the self-extraction completes, the Installation Wizard starts. Accept the license terms and click Next to proceed through installation. When prompted, enter your name, University of Massachusetts, and Serial number 797091234.

Proceed through the remainder of the installation. If you accept all defaults, Systat is installed in C:\Program Files\SYSTAT 13, with the following shortcuts in the Start menu: Start => Programs => SYSTAT 13 => Command Translator Restore Default Settings SYSTAT 13 SYSTAT FAQ SYSTAT Help Uninstall Update License What's New in SYSTAT 13

The selected license file is copied to the SYSTAT installation folder, and its name is changed to lservrc. To see the days remaining on your license, be sure SYSTAT 13 ENU Engine xx-bit is selected under Available Features. All Systat licenses expire on August 30 each year, so your days remaining will depend on when you install the license.
Software Patches
By default, initial installation checks for available patches. You should check for new patches periodically. To install any available software patches, open Systat, select Help Check for Product Updates.

Uninstalling SYSTAT
SYSTAT can be uninstalled in any Windows environment using one of the following methods: 1. Click Start => Programs => SYSTAT 13 => Uninstall to uninstall the program. 2. Right-click the Systat downloaded file, Systat13ENUxx.exe and select Run as Administrator. After self-extraction, the Installation Wizard starts. Click Next. You will get a screen with choices to Modify, Repair or Remove Systat. Select Remove. Note: If SYSTAT is installed for all users then uninstalling SYSTAT for any user will uninstall SYSTAT for all users.
