Minutes Lytton City Council City Hall September 3, 2013 Mayor Brian Pibal called the meeting to order

at 7:00 PM with council members Jeff Ellerbrock, Nelda Bartels, Tim Huddleson, Larry Coon and Nick Albright present. Employees: Rusty Huster and Nancy Janssen. Guests: Ryan Brandt Motion by Bartels, seconded by Huddleson to approve the agenda. All voted Aye. Motion by Ellerbrock, seconded by Albright to approve the Consent Agenda which included claims, payroll, minutes of the August 1, 2013 meeting, financial, Treasurers and Sheriffs reports. All voted Aye. Ryan Brandt of Snyder and Associates met with council to present a first draft of the plans to expand the capacity at the water treatment plant. No decision was made. Motion by Ellerbrock, seconded by Coon to approve an amendment to the current 28E agreement with Sac County for Sheriffs protection. The new agreement moves from a determined number of hours per month to 24/7/365 coverage at a per capita rate structure. Voting Aye: Ellerbrock, Albright, Bartels, Coon, and Huddleson. Council spent time discussing projects and issues for the next budget year and asked employees to track hours and duties for use with the budget. There were no requests for building permits. Motion by Bartels, seconded by Coon to appoint Derrick Franck of the Mundt, Franck Law Firm as City Attorney. All voted Aye. Resolution 13-09- A Resolution approving the Annual Street report was introduced and Ellerbrock motioned its approval, seconded by Huddleson. All Voted Aye. Motion by Coon, seconded by Huddleson to change the citys unemployment contribution type from Quarterly status to Reimbursable Status do the rising cost of the contributions. All voted Aye. Reports were heard and motion to adjourn at 8:29 PM by Ellerbrock, seconded by Albright.
