Pipe, Flange, and Gaskets Basics Introduction and course description Piping and pipelines are a major component of today

economy. Properly designed and constructed piping system will save millions of dollars losses of energy, unnecessary material and workmanship and maintenance modifications later one during operation phase. Drawing is an unparalleled document that transfers the designers ideas to the fabricator, erector and users of piping systems and pipelines. This five days course will present the attendees with the design, specification and construction as well as operation phase. The codes and standards for of these items will be explained in details. Various configurations of piping systems routing and supporting be examined with concentration on practical aspects to understand the basis of selection and application of each.

Training Outcomes On completion of this course, the trainee will Know terminology and symbols used in piping layout Understand the basic concepts in piping design, P & IDs, pipe sizing, piping layouts and isometrics Understand plant layout, plot plan and design of piping systems for safe and dependable and cost effective manner. Learn the techniques and procedures used in the design and engineering of complex process piping, including use of industry codes and standards Be able to prepare engineering documents (bill of materials, equipment specifications, etc) and drawings Learn how to optimize plant layout, Demonstration of CEASAR II in piping design and piping isometrics.

Methodology Interactive training methodologies will be used distributed on total classroom hours as following:60% Lectures. 20 %m Group Work, Exercises and Workshops. 20% Videos & Software Who should attend?
