mo(a) senhor(a), O meu nome Ricardo Castro e tenho o curso em Engenharia Eletrnica Industrial da Universidade do Minho. Como voc ser capaz de ver no meu currculo, comecei minha carreira trabalhando na QuintaSinfonia, Lda, uma empresa que faz automao escola, que me proporcionou a oportunidade de construir um slido conhecimento na anlise e levantamento das necessidades dos clientes empresariais e na formao dos trabalhadores dos clientes da empresa. De l, eu tive a hiptese de ir para uma carreira mais acadmica, e comecei a ensinar cincia computacional. Neste ponto, e acumulando com os meus deveres profissionais, inscrevi-me num novo curso: Informtica - Ramo Educao da Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique. Mais tarde, tirei uma ps-graduao em Economia Social, visto Economia ser uma rea que me alicia. Considero-me uma pessoa dinmica, com forte sentido de responsabilidade e um forte desejo de trabalhar em projetos aliciantes na rea de Eletrnica e/ou Cincias da Computao. Neste ponto da minha carreira, eu quero principalmente para aprender com especialistas na rea, e aplicar algumas das habilidades que adquiri durante meus estudos acadmicos, acho que algumas dessas habilidades podero ser valiosas para a posio que me estou candidatando. As you will be able to confirm in my CV, I started working at QuintaSinfonia, Lda. This company is responsible for school automation, which provided the opportunity to build solid knowledge in the analysis to survey the needs of enterprise customers or in the training of employees of the enterprise customers. After this experience, I had the opportunity to move to a academic career, and I start teaching computational science. At this point, and accumulating with my professional duties, I enroll in a new degree: Computer Science - Education Branch at the University Portucalense Infante D. Henrique, in Porto, Portugal. I consider myself a dynamic person with strong sense of responsibility and a strong desire to work in challenging projects in the area of Electronics and Computer Science. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to apply for your "Process Development Engineer" position. I have been always interested in polymers, since I was a student at the University of Porto. In the final year of my 5 year degree I went to Chalmers University in Sweden and developed a project in bio-polymers, which enhanced my knowledge in this area. As you can see from my CV, I have worked in different countries, where I was able to build solid work/friendship relationships. At the same time, I had the chance to study/research different areas of chemical engineering (polymers, fluid mechanics, adsorption, simulations,

programming), and in all of them I was able to achieve high performances. I am very interested in knowing more about accountancy to make a relation between the process itself and the business world. Therefore, I completed several parallel short courses in the area of management and account. At this point of my career, I mainly want to learn from experts in the area, and apply some of the skills I've acquired during my academic studies; I think some of those skills could be valuable to the position I'm applying.
