(Teacher distributes the pictures of pets drawn by pupils during L & S lesson. 4. (a) Paste the picture in the space provided in your task sheet. (b) Complete the sentence below using your own words. (use the passage on tortoise and hamster as an example.)

Correct answers will be displayed on the notice board. Errors- peer group correction. (Pupils with correct answers will help their friends.)

TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES ( LANGUAGE ARTS )- First Day 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Turn to Page 48 of Year 3 Textbook. Repeat the lyrics after the teacher and do the actions. Teacher checks on pronunciation, rhythm and intonation. Lets sing together with actions. Teacher is going to give a piece of Manila Card each. (Teacher distributes the Manila Card.) Draw the face of an animal that you like or your pet. Take out your coloured pencils and colour the face of the animal. Teacher shows how to cut the face of the animal. ( Teacher walks around to check on pupils.) * if you cannot finish, continue at home. * remember to bring it tomorrow.

9. Bring your masks to me. ( Teacher punches holes on the mask and fixes the rubber bands.

Second Day 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Teacher groups the pupils with the same animal masks. Lets sing and replace the name of the animals and their movements according to your face masks. Lets sing and do the actions together. ( cat, rabbit, frog, butterfly) with this group. After singing, teacher distributes task sheets with all the verbs in the past tense removed. Read the instructions first. Class..where did the five little ducks go? The answer is : Five little ducks went out to play. Continue the rest by filling in the blanks with the correct words. Those who get all correct (will get a big * ) Practice at home for our English Day Presentation.
