Well from my recent experiences, secualr people have the idea that if you are part of their immediate
household that they can partake of any blessings the Lord may bring into your life, whether financially,

What kind of expectations hopes should born-again Christians have? The expectation that God means
that He says concerning their life. Including looking more closely into His word and teachings. Christians
should expect to walk that very thin line which God has set before them, and stay on that line. As Jesus
says "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be
that find it." Matthew 7:14
Why should one keep expectations to a minimum? As far as God is concerned, we should never keep our
expectations of Him to a minimun, that would be denying His power and will for our lives. However,
when it comes to other people, we should be satisfied knowing that they have put in what they could/can
at the time. So we will never get disappointed. Do we believe that people can exceed their own built-in
expectations, or even ours? Yes, but we must understand that it is we who often have to contend with
them... Pushing a person beyond our own expectations is not godly, nor is it right...However, pushing a
person towards a godly expectation is correct.
What do most secular individuals consider success? Mammom.
What do most secular individuals consider failure? Christians, and a lack of money/prosperity. Weak
people
What does God consider human being success? Mt 6:19-20 -Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon
earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for
yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break
through nor steal: Mark 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all
thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is
like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater

What does God consider human being failure? The failure to get along peaceably with our fellow humans

What kinds of focus should born-again Christians have? To live holy and righteous lives before the Lord,
and to make sure others see their light shining.
How should we discern what to tolerate and not tolerate when relating to others? Anything leading to
sin/unrighteousness
How does agapè love help in the situations like I indicated about my trip? Agape love overcomes
resentment and bitterness

Surely success and failure mean wholly different things for us Christians.. . The world would
consider most of the Bible's big successes to be failures. Take the most successful act in history,
which is redemption.. . the world still sees Jesus as a failed wannabe hero.

Success to me is an abundant ministry... Transformed lives. Influence on younger (or older)

generations of Christians. Success is being exactly where God wants you to be and doing exactly
the works that He has prepared for you before the foundation of the world. He has a plan for you

Proverbs comes in here, if you try to talk to someone and they turn a deaf ear and want to argue, you are
to leave the fools cause they will try to bring you down. do not argue with them as you are not going to
win, they do not understand god, do not know god

agape love is used many times in your story, you could have gotten mad and yelled at several peoples but
you did not. you hold your thoughts inside of how they are treating you. you talked decently to those that
wronged you (your exes family). as i do too as it is agape love to treat those wrongly that treated you
wrong.
And what does Psalm 62 indicate?
that we are to put God first, that without god we may think we are getting somewhere but we are not, you
might get rich without knowing God, but do you truly have friends, happiness, everything you need? i
think not

Jonny responses--
1)Most secularists have um....humanistic expectations, merely based on self-ability, which is futile.
2)We Messianic believers should have nothing but godly expectations, for as David said, "My expectation
comes from Yahweh."
3)Self-based expectations should be kept not only to a minimum, but actually crucified on the Cross,..for
they are vanity.
4)Most secularists consider "success" to be when they achieve their own desires. But it is an illusion
fabricated by the forces of darkness to keep them blind and enslaved, hindering their progress into HIM.
5)They see failure as not achieving those desires.
6)Yahweh sees human success as when we listen to His Voice, obey, and gain the reward and
manifestation of His Word within our lives.
7)HE sees human failure as when we fail to listen and comply, thus being short-circuited from receiving
that which HE desires to do and impart into our lives.
8)Secularists focus on this : The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. These are NOT
of Abba, and will pass away.
9)Our focus should be Him and ONLY Him. He who believes in Him will endure forever, and this is the
Victory which has overcome the world--our faith.
10)The Holy Spirit will give us the divine discernment to sense and know exactly what to tolerate or
refuse to have association with, in relation to others.
11)Agape is the perfect Love of Yahweh Elohim, and It is the MOST Powerful Force and Energy in all of
existence, and reigns supreme over all. As we allow It to permeate and saturate our lives, being as It's
channels and vessels,...fear is cast out, as well as anything else which is contrary to His holy Nature and
