PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT
I coach leaders to integrate the story of their vision and mission with their strategy and
communication. I develop and consult partnerships and organizations with
communication and story. I advocate for heritage across the lifespan and heritage-
friendly organizations.
I research ecuministry, writing and editing with applied and interpretive approaches,
storied systems design, heritage development, anthropology of whole systems,
dialogue, cross-sector social partnerships, placemaking and civic commons, and
vocational and community engagement.
I encourage people with words and symbols. I contribute, integrate, and validate
creative and compelling content and scale to teams, coach and consult ministry,
community, and organizational leaders, and facilitate teams and partnerships to
improve quality of life, to enhance morale and a we story, and to revive cultures that
align ideals with a shared strategy. I produce and publish writing, intermedia, and
photography.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
For seven years, I facilitated leadership, dialogue, and narrative workshops with an
ecumenical cross-sector partnership that provides human services for residents of a
city of over 100,000 people. I coached the executive director, board president, and with
them co- designed and facilitated story- crafting and sharing workshops and retreats
for the board and program managers to improve unity and resolve crises
I founded Dogwood Group and formerly Text and Pixels to develop and consult
organizations with attention to cultures of heritage and organizational well-being and
thriving via creative methods. I assisted clients to design and integrate marketing
discourse with story- crafting and sharing of their communication strategy, intermedia
content production, volunteer engagement, and leader or team development.
