EARLIER BACKGROUND
Prior to FedEx, I was a successful Training / Internal Audit (Quality Assurance) Manager and Terminal Operations Manager of the North American Airline and Truck HUB for Flying Tigers International in Columbus, OH. As The Flying Tiger Terminal Manager, I was responsible for 25 Aircraft and multiple tractor-trailer departures on a nightly basis. Workforce consisted of 450 non-exempt and 40 exempt employees (Supervisors and Chief Services Supervisors) sorting and loading several million pounds of International and Domestic Air Freight. As Training / Internal Audit (Quality Assurance) Manager I was responsible for developing the curriculum and overseeing the classroom delivery of Aircraft Weight/Balance and Hazardous Material training to over 25 Domestic and 12 International major cities.
