KTM CANADA WEEKLY RACE REPORT

Bobby Prochnau wins the overall at CEC round 1 & 2!


Canadian Enduro Championship Series: 1st & 2nd round, Blairmore, AB, July 4th & 5th, 2009.

The 1 and 2 round of the new Canadian Enduro Championship Series was held in the Rocky Mountains last
weekend at Blairmore AB. KTM dealer RTR Performance rider, Bobby Prochnau was the guy to beat this
weekend winning the E2 class both days and taking the overall victory with his KTM 450 XC-F. On both days, in the
E3 class KTM riders Jason Schrage and Geoff Nelson finished respectively 1 and 2. KTM dealer Lethbridge

Honda Center rider, Schrage (KTM 300 XC) took the 2 and 3 place overall and Nelson ended up in 5 and 6
place overall with his 300 XC prepared by KTM dealer Holeshot Moto Sports. KTM Canada rider Patrick Beaulé
(KTM 250 XC-F-W) battled hard both days with A&E RV Racing & Marine KTM rider Jack Sawatsky for the top

position in the E1 class. Sawatzky settled for the 1 place on day 1 and 2 on day 2. Beaulé took the 3 place on
day1 and won on day 2. KTM Valley Moto Sport rider, Victoria Hett had an amazing weekend and dominated the
Woman class both days.

Richard Grey won 3 classes in Sand Del Lee!

Eastern Canadian Amateur National Championship: Sand Del Lee, ON, July 1 – July 5 2009,

Last week was the Eastern Canadian Amateur National Championship in Sand Del Lee and lots of good KTM
amateur riders showed up and scored great results in almost every class. In the youth category Kerim Fitz-Gerald
won the overall with his KTM 250 SX-F prepared by KTM dealer Orange Motorsports. Also riding for OMS,
Richard Grey (KTM 150 SX) dominated the schoolboy, MX2 Junior and GP Junior classes by winning all three
overalls. In the ladies class, Kate Mckeroll crossed the checkered flag in 1st position on her KTM 144 SX prepared
by KTM dealer Parker Bros. Powersports. KTM dealer Pièces d’Autos Duroy riders Michael and Christopher

Da Silva battled hard all week. Michael also won the best battle award with his 3 , 2 and 1 position in the Junior,
Schoolboy and 85cc classes. His brother Christopher won in the 50cc (7-8), 50cc GP and 65cc (7-9) classes. KTM
dealer Oshawa Cycle riders Cameron and Weston Wrozyna had also an excellent racing week as they took the
1st position respectively in the 50cc (4-6) and 65cc categories.

Trae Franklin won 9 moto in Raymond!

Western Canadian Amateur National Championship: Raymond, BC, July 1 – July 4 2009,

The 12 annual CMRC Western Canadian Amateur National completed this past weekend with approximately 650
entries from all over Western Canada. The event's big winner was KTM rider, Trae Franklin. The 14 year old KTM
rider dominated in the Super Mini, Junior and GP Junior classes the entire week. Franklin won all 9 motos he
entered, and took home the coveted Gaerne Bronze Boot award for the event's top rider. Two other KTM riders did

very well, Cody Munro (KTM 85 SX) finished 2 Overall in 8-11 85cc class and Jamie Munro ended up in 5
position overall in Ladies Class on her KTM 250 SX-F prepared by KTM dealer RTR Performance.

Good results for KTM ATV racer at St-Wenceslas race!


Courses VTT Series: 2nd round, St-Wenceslas, QC, July 4th & 5th, 2009.

Last weekend was the 2 round of the Courses VTT Series and KTM ATV racers scored really good results.

Saturday in the semi pro class, KTM rider Antoine Laliberté finished in 1 position overall with his 1-2 results. In
the same class, Patrick Brisebois from KTM dealer Grégoire Sport ended up in the top 5. Sunday in the Pro
category, KTM dealer Moto des Ruisseaux rider, Bobby Desjardins had a really good first moto and crossed the

finish line in 3 position. With his 13 place in moto 2, he took the 5 position overall for the day.

Tommy Searle earned his third podium of the season!


US Motocross Lites Series: 6th round, Buchanan, MI, July 4th, 2009

Tommy Searle had a great jump at the start; he finished the first lap in 4 . Meanwhile his teammate, Wil Hahn,

checked in at 6 place on the first lap. At the end of the moto Searle had remained consistent and finished 5 while

Hahn earned his best moto finish of the season in 9 . In moto 2, Martin Davalos nailed the Holeshot. Davalos,
stayed strong and put in a remarkable ride to finish 5th overall the second moto. Searle stayed on the gas and

passed from his 7 place start to an impressive 2nd overall and 3 for the day. Hahn finished 14 .

US Motocross Series: 6th round, Buchanan, MI, July 4th, 2009

In the 450 Motocross class, Jagermeister/MDK/KTM rider Justin Brayton had a great start as the gate dropped for
the first moto. Nearing the last lap Brayton lost control and went over the bars. Despite his crash he still managed to
recover a few positions and finish 11th overall for the moto. By the end of the moto 2, he had charged his way into

11 . His 11-11 scores earned him 10 overall for the day.

Official Rally "KTM Customer Service" at Africa Race

Following many requests for a customer service for the upcoming Africa Race, KTM will be present with its
Customer Truck to take care of the company's participating customers. The "Africa Eco Race" as it is officially
known, largely follows the former route of the "Dakar Rally" travelling through Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal.
The start is on December 27, 2009 and the race finishes in Dakar on January 10, 2010.
