Effective immediately and until September at the earliest, soldiers posted to this Sp Pl will not necessarily be assigned to a specific Section or Section Commander. Newly posted in pers will see the first available Sp Pl staff mbr, who will in turn "clear-in the mbr and initiate a file. As soldiers attend the IPSC they will see the first available Sp PL staff mbr who will address the mbrs needs and provide assistance as necessary. Soldiers requiring to "sign in" or require basic routine administration ie leave passes etc, will report to the front desk and Sgt Phillips and his assistants will provide all admin support or will contact a Sp Pl staff mbr if necessary. Along with these duties the front desk admin staff are also tasked with making contact with ill and injured soldiers as and when requested. Should Section Commanders, Med Case Mgmt, PCNs, MOs, NPs etc need to make contact with one of our ill or injured soldiers it is requested that you contact Ext 3504 and provide the information to them and they will contact the mbr and pass along the msg. There is also a change when it comes to the Return To Work (RTW) Program, and how it is administered. Mr John Rosborough continues to be the SME and Coord for the RTW Program however he is no longer responsible for all soldiers posted to the Sp Pl. This duty now falls with all IPSC Client Svcs Reps and falls in line with their assigned units. Soldiers on the RTW program will be administered by Client Svc Reps and they will be coordinating the program as the OPI for their mbrs and will complete all administration as well as the assigning of RTW placements and reassigning as required. Sp Pl Sections will revert to being the POC for the CoC and the Client Svcs Reps will administer the program. I would ask that LCdr Eason and/or the PCNs for each CDU share this info with their respective admin staff and MOs as necessary.

I thank-you for your patience during this extremely trying time for the IPSC and request that you all understand and support this change to the way we do business.
