MiCOM M830 in compact design

In addition to a comprehensive self-monitoring the following global functions are available in MiCOM M830:
Operating data recording

(time-tagged signal logging)

The MiCOM M830 device is a cost effective disturbance recorder in compact design. MiCOM M830 provides disturbance data recording and disturbance data acquisition in medium- and high-voltage systems. The systems can be operated as impedance-grounded, resonantgrounded or isolated-neutral systems.

MiCOM M830 is completely settable via the local control panel or using MiCOM S1 S&R-103. Comprehensive measurements and recording facilities simplify commissioning, testing and fault diagnosis. Using the optional communication interface, MiCOM M830 can be integrated through a choice of communication protocols in substation control systems and telecontrol system

Interfaces
Information exchange is done via the local control panel, the PC interface and the optional communication interface. Clock synchronisation is provided through the communication interface or the IRIG-B input with a resolution of 1 ms.

measurement inputs are settable: Inom : 1 A or 5 A AC Vnom: 50 to 130 V AC fnom : 50 or 60 Hz Wide range power supply: 24 to 60 Vdc or 110 to 250 Vdc and 100 to 230 Vac (select by internal jumper)
2 wide range binary inputs:

24 to 250 V DC
8 output relays, suitable for both

signals and commands.

Design
MiCOM M830 design includes an universal case which is equally suitable for both wall or flush mounting owing to reversible connector blocks together with adjustable angle brackets.
