Active participation, enjoyment, fair play and player development of all our players are the cornerstones of the programme.

Strictly 7 v 7 on a 55m x 35m pitch. All players should play at least 50% of match. Roll on Roll off subs Club with more than 1 team to grade teams (A, B, etc.) Players may be moved between teams to encourage clubs with borderline numbers to put in as many teams as possible. Teams will be grouped with similar strength opposition. Results maintained for grading purposes but not published. Future Stars Trophy (Trophies) for team (teams) that best epitomizes the concept of the Future Stars Program. End of season blitz, 15 minute straight through matches. Clubs to mix their teams into even standard selections (e.g. mix As & Bs). Cup awarded on the day by a judge with the criteria along similar lines to the future stars Trophy. Future Stars Trophy winners also announced and awarded on the same day.

Something to consider
If it was as simple as just playing SSGs, we would have excellent players. The Key is why we play and How we play the games
