Activity for the second year (Pharmacognosy-2(203)

All students are requested to present the following according to the assigned groups; 1- A slide show according to the assigned topics (see the table below) 2- The slide show will be presented in not more than 10-15 min 3- It should cover seeds, fruits or animal drugs. 4- Criteria for evaluating the oral presentation (see check list below) Self confidence (eye contact, body languageetc) Presentation should be concise , scientific and containing the following items: a) Cover slide (including: Topic, names and affiliations of the contributors, Logo ) b) Contents. c) Introduction. [includes an overview on the topic, supported by photos and showing importance of natural products to solve the raised topic] d) Main subject (drug name, active constituents, part used, pharmacological action, uses, side effects and contraindications). Mention 5 drugs e) Available preparations in the market (local or international) f) Conclusion and recommendations (optional) g) References h) Duties (containing the tasks carried out by every contributor including; data collection, revising data, preparation of the presentation i) Presentation should be illustrative (contains photos, flow charts and structures if possible) 5-
