Program description: The starter is designed with a MAN 0 AUT switch, In MAN mode both compressors will run

regardless of the start / stop pressure switch. It is not recommended to leave the compressor running unattended in MAN mode although the parameters temperature, lub. Oil and motor overload is surveyed. In 0 mode the compressors are switched off, but the starter is still powered. In AUT mode the compressors are controlled by the start / stop pressure switches. The program contains an automatic lead / follow sequence, the pressure switches will alter between the compressors each time the pressure switch F11.1 reaches stop level. The starter is equipped with a common alarm signal output and 3 alarm signal lamps. The alarm signal is a voltage free contact programmed to be closed when the compressor condition is normal. This means that the alarm signal is open if the PLC is not running, or there is a fault condition detected. Following parameters will give alarm: Lubrication oil failure. If the Lub. Oil level / pressure falls under the setting of the Lub. Oil switch the compressor will stop and alarm will be given. The alarm will remain until the reset button is pressed. The signal lamp LUB. OIL FAILURE will go on and will remain engaged until the reset button is pressed. The corresponding running lamp will go flashing to indicate which compressor is involved. El-motor overload. If the thermal overload relay releases, the compressor will stop and alarm will be given. The alarm will remain until the thermal relay is reset. The signal lampt OVERLOAD will go on and will remain engaged until the thermal relay is reset. The corresponding running lamp will go flashing to indicate which compressor is involved. Emergency stop. If the emergency stop push button is activated, the compressors will stop and alarm will be given. The alarm will remain until the emergency stop push button is released and the reset button is pressed. The signal lamp OVERLOAD vill go flashing and will remain flashing until the reset button is pressed. Low air pressure. The pressure switch F14 will givealarm when the air pressure falls under the setting of the switch. The signal lamp LOW AIR PRESSURE will go on and alarm will be given. The alarm will remain until the pressure rises above the setting of the switch. The program is designed to autostart after blackout if the compressor is set to AUT mode, timer B6 will delay the start. The starter is designed with an emergency run switch. When this switch is operated the PLC is overridden, and the alarm functions are therefore not active. This switch is intended for emergency run only and the compressor must not be left running unattended.
