DO NOT move distributor in an attempt to adjust timing, no timing adjustment is possible. DISTRIBUTOR SPECIFICATIONS All models are equipped with Powertrain Control Module computerized ignition. Distributor houses camshaft position sensor. Distributor also distributes high voltage to appropriate spark plug. No adjustments are required.

THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR Output voltage (center terminal of TP sensor) should be more than .20 volt at closed throttle (idle) and less than 4.8 volts at WOT. Voltage should increase gradually and smoothly as throttle is slowly opened from idle to WOT. TP sensor is not adjustable.

PCM opens and closes ignition coil ground circuit to adjust ignition timing according to engine operating conditions. Amount of electronic spark advance provided by PCM is determined by ECT sensor, CKP sensor (engine RPM), MAP sensor and TP sensor inputs.
