The European Journal of Dermatology (EJD) publishes mostly original works which have not
been submitted for publication in the same form to another journal. Permission to reproduce all or
part of your material published in EJD within another journal or other media must be requested to
the Publisher, the text and illustrations remaining the sole property of the Publisher.

PROVISIONS OF TRANSFER OF COPYRIGHT

Article 1
The Contribution of the author or authors signatory (hereafter
referred to as "the Author") is a contribution to a body of work
published by the publisher John Libbey Eurotext Limited (JLE),
127 avenue de la République, 92120 Montrouge, France, Siret
number 328 195 904 00037 (hereafter referred to as “the
Publisher”), represented by its publication’s director, Gilles Cahn
who publishes and issues this work, under his editorship and in his
name, in The European Journal of Dermatology (EJD).
Bearing in mind the nature of the Contribution, the Author
authorises the Publisher, to publish or have published all or part of
the submitted Contribution and to carry out any editorial changes
that may be required to ensure the consistency and uniformity of
the journal.
The Author agrees to transfer to the Publisher, exclusively and
definitively, all literary and artistic copyright ownership rights for
his or her Contribution, while retaining his or her moral rights. The
assignment of the rights is knowingly granted for no charge by the
Author of his/her own free will in accordance with Articles L. 122-
7 and L.122-7-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code. He/she
consequently waives the right to any royalties for the exploitations
of the Contribution under this agreement and acknowledges that the
Publisher shall be free to enjoy the assigned rights pursuant to
Article 2.
Article 2
The copyright mentioned in Article 1 above includes in particular:
a) The rights of adaptation, including translation, correction and amendment;
b) The rights of representation, reproduction, incorporation, whether in full or in
part, and direct or indirect transmission of the Contribution in any information
or communication media, electronic or otherwise, and using any current or
future technology, including printing, photocopying, sending by fax,
telecommunication, electronic transmission in digital or any other format, by e-
mail, FTP, etc; and/or publication in print form, in a database, on the Internet
(extranet or intranet), via any type of network, on a web, wap or other site, in an
electronic forum (newsgroup, chat, IRC, blogs, etc.), or on a multimedia
product (CD-Rom, DVD, Worm disk), now or hereafter known;
c) The right to use the Contribution and its adaptations for the promotion of
the Publisher and its publications and other products, in any type of
advertising medium such as brochures, posters, facsimiles, banners,
hypertext links, etc.
These rights may be used by the Publisher or by a third party to whom it
transfers copyright throughout the period for which literary and artistic
ownership is valid, in all languages and countries.
Article 3
The Author guarantees the Publisher the full and unrestricted benefit of the
transferred copyright.
