Salvation is the work of God that restores the whole world and us to
wholeness. God's work complete. Glory. Eternal life. And we are
in on it, in on the redemption of the world. Whoever I am, and
wherever I find myself in history, in geography, in "sickness or in
health", in whatever circumstance, I am in the middle of it, God's
work of salvation.

For us as a congregation, it was a great blessing
to share the road together last week with our
brothers and sisters from NPCC.
Your willingness and enthusiasm to help us in the
dirty work left us all impacted and challenged.
Our commitment and passion to continue serving
our neighbors and the community of Consuelo was
strengthened through your visit. Our desire is to
make the Kingdom of God present and real to our
people in such a way that they feel useful to the
Lord and not just another religious person. It
was encouraging to us to hear your story and
know that God has turned on a bright light in the
Bahamas through you all. May that light
continue to burn brightly among you so that
God#s Kingdom is revealed throughout your
islands and beyond. All of us who were with you
during the two days we spent together regret that
you were only with us for two days. We would
have loved it if you could have been with us longer
to share and mutually edified.

The experience of sharing with you our brothers and sisters from NPCC was an incredible
blessing to me. When I shared my story with you I remembered once again, just how small I
am and how great God is…

Serving shoulder to shoulder with you in the kitchen I saw once again how God uses those
experiences to impact all of our lives. Despite being from different nations and cultures, we
share a deep bond that unites us… a passion for the Kingdom of God made real… here and
now!

I had the privilege and honor of sharing the table with you for only a few hours, but from
that time I could sense and appreciate your passion for the dynamic actions of God’s
primary instrument for the transformation of all things… the local church. I was
impressed by your example of involving and engaging the whole family in God’s mission
we are called to along the way. I observed how relationally you as a team had built a
loving and caring community among yourselves that challenges me to seek the same for
the families and friends of our church. As this was the third visit from leaders of NPCC to
the DR and the network churches, I can see a genuine interest and passion to learn about
and experience wholistic mission as well as to a church that truly impacts and transforms
their context and beyond. Being with you was a joy! I realized that when we were
together we play the same music…
