The Embassy of Republic of Turkey has informed that undergraduate/graduate/postgraduate and research scholarships awarded by the Republic of Turkey has been collected under the Turkiya Scholarship Programme from the 2012-13. It is worth mentioning that these scholarships does come under bilateral cultural exchange scholarship programme. The scholarships are offered under following categories:-

Harran Undergraduate Scholarship: is for supporting successful students to study at undergraduate level in Turkey and are offered for degrees on social, technical and educational sciences.

Ali Kuscu Science and Technology Graduate and Research Scholarship: offers scholarship for graduate, post graduate degrees or research on Engineering and Science departments. Economic Studies Graduate and Research Scholarship: offers scholarship for graduate, postgraduate degrees or research on Management, Economics, Labor Economics and related departments. History and Civilization Graduate and Research Scholarship: offers scholarship for graduate, post graduate degrees or research on History and History relateddepartments.

Ibni Haldum Social Sciences Graduate and Research Scholarship: offers scholarship for graduate, post graduate degrees or research on Sociology, Law, Political Science, International Relations, Geography, Anthropology and related departments. Ibni Sina Health Sciences Scholarship: offers scholarship for undergraduate degrees shot term specialization and specialization on medicine, dentistry and pharmacy departments. Islamic Theology Scholarship: offers scholarship for associate, undergraduate graduate and post graduate degrees on theology departments. Yunus Emre Turkish language Scholarship: offers scholarship for undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate degrees and summer courses at Turkish language departments.

2 The interested candidates are hereby advised to submit their applications only online directly to the quarter concerned. The application formand other information can be obtained from the following website (www.turkiayeburslari.gov.tr, www.turkiyeburslari.org orwww.trscholarshi ps.org & Embassy web page. www.Islamabad.emb.mfa.gov.tr). The last date for submission of online applications is 1stJune, 2012.

3 Candidates who are interested are hereby advised to submit their applications directly, only online as per the requirement of Turkish Scholarship authorities. No financial liabilities will be involved on part of Ministry of IPC/Government of Pakistan and candidates will bear all the expenditure by themselves, however, they will enjoy the facilities offered by the Government of Turkey i.e Free Accommodation, No Admission Fee, and Free Medical, Free Transportation, Book Allowance & handsome amount of monthly stipend. No application will be entertained by the Ministry of IPC.
