Job Title and project: Rehabilitation and Upgrading of NH-17 4-Lane in the state of Maharashtra under NHDP Phase 111 on a DBFOT 84.000. Duties As Bridge Engineer was responsible for studying & verifying the drawings issued by DPR Consultants and prepare good for construction drawings and as built drawings along with Design Engineers. Planning and programming of the project along with planning engineers and scheduling of all the items of the works. Preparing the methodologies of all the major activities. Preparation of traffic management plan, safety plan and environment management plan & implement.. Liason and co-ordinate with public and Govt. bodies to procure the material as per specifications. Setting out of all plants, monitoring day-to-day production of concrete batching plants, aggregate crusher plant etc. Instructing all the field staff regarding survey works, supervision, execution and organization of all site activities i.e. construction techniques, checking and taking measurements. Preparation of bills, calculation of quantities, quality assurance and quality control procedures and certifying sub contractor bills. Supervise all the site activities i.e. construction supervision of structures i.e.8 nos of major bridge,both well and pile foundation,psc girder launching with grantry girder, span length 28m,16 nos of minor bridges all open foundation and solid slab, 3 nos of , underpasses,11 nos of slab culverts,10 nos box culverts and2 nos of pipe culverts, service roads, median drains, kerb and longitudinal drains related to the project. Preparation of quality assurance manual and quality control procedures, and supervise all the activities are carrying out as per specifications stipulated in contract documents. MORT & H, IS codes and IRC standards. Conducting internal quality audits. Discuss with Sr. Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Manager regarding variation orders, Interim payment statements, and contractual matters and finalise. Site visits along with Consultants and client conducting internal meetings with staff members to discuss and sort out problems encounted if any while execution. Fixing of targets, monthly quantity wise, prepare physical progress and financial progress of the month. Liason and co-ordinate with client, and consultants regarding all the issues related to the project. Prepare Hindrance list, carryout hindrance survey Liason and Co-ordinate with public and relevant authorities to clearing all the obstructions and encumbrances subject to the project.
