We firmly believe that with our existing expertise in biotechnology, further research would allow PondOil to deliver a product

that would give you a competitive edge within the aviation industry. We have confidence in our ability to provide a secure, sustainable solution to the high cost of airline operations by reducing the cost of fuel. We propose a joint venture to increase the productivity and efficacy of our biofuel technology with the potential to scale up the operation to a commercial level.

Through our proposed partnership, we can help you to gain the first mover advantage in the development of a financially secure biofuel source for your fleet. Biofuel made from algae already offers competitive energy prices, with existing companies able to sell at prices as low as US$25 per barrel compared to current oil prices of around US$100 per barrel. Transportation and refinement costs of biofuel are low compared to that of fossil-fuel based products, and the incorporation of biofuel wouldnt require changes to existing fuelling infrastructure. Fuel consumption within the aviation industry is predicted to double by 2050. The cost of refining oil is also set to increase significantly. With oil prices set to soar to US$160 per barrel by 2050, now is the time to take pre-emptive action. Working together to take a proactive and innovative approach to the situation offers the possibility of reducing fuel costs when compared to the current fossil fuels by as much as 84% by 2050. There is also the possibility that our research could gain additional funding through national clean energy incentive programs such as the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) and the Advanced Biofuels Investment Readiness (ABIR) program. If as a result of our success we decide to scale up our project to the production level, with your help we are likely to attract additional investors, with large corporations such as Shell and BP investing large sums of money into the clean energy sector.

Through the advancement of our partnership, we would be able to provide you with a sustainable product. Algae-based biofuels lead the industry in productivity, producing 24X more oil per acre than

the next leading biofuel. We would also be able to guarantee a steady supply; on average existing companies are able to produce around 15 000 gallons per acre per year; in fact one US company produces 180 000 gallons per year from just one acre of algae. With your backing, we expect to make biotechnological advances to improve the yield rate of our algae, which would lower production costs even further and give you control over your fuel supply.

Biofuel can offer a sophisticated and iconic green solution to the predicted fuel price crunch, and the opportunity to lead the aviation industry into the future of clean energy. Advanced biofuels have been shown to reduce flight emissions by 50 to 80%, and the production of biofuel itself is a carbon neutral process, meaning that the carbon released during use of biofuels in cancelled out by the carbon absorbed during plant growth. Algae can be grown in waste waters, and we would propose to grow our crops near to power plants or areas with high levels of industrial pollution. This neat solution would both provide carbon necessary for algal growth and reduce the carbon footprint of these areas. With a growing public environmental conscience, working together on this product would give you an edge over existing airlines and set you apart as a pioneer of the aviation industry through your profile as a clean, green airline. .
