Year of foundation: 1991 Ossona (20 km from Milan, Italy) Solo Italia is specialized in the production of dessert belonging to the Italian tradition but also develops special recipes based on different market needs. Creator of the first fresh tiramisu for mass market. Diversified production of desserts and, from 2008, sponge-cake and cream puffs. Production site of 15,000 squared meters split into: 4000 sq.m storage RM/Packaging 3350 sq.m storage +4 C and -20C 2500 sq.m production of sponge-cake and cream puffs 2700 sq.m offices 200 employees

An oven as long as 140 m dedicated to production of sponge cakes and cream puffs. Solo Italia Research and Development laboratory is equipped with a pilot production line to create new recipes experiment new flavours improve current recipes.

Logistic of Solo Italia Desserts in US market


Desserts (shipped from Italy by sea) arrive at Atalantas warehouse in Elizabeth FROZEN.
Frozen desserts have 1 year shelf life. Once thawed, desserts have 40 days shelf life. Shelf life can be added at Atalantas warehouse before shipping or directly by the customer at store level.

Tiramis Chocolate Truffle

The most classic of all Italian desserts, prepared following a traditional local recipe. Soft sponge cake drenched in a light coffee flavored liqueur, a creamy white mascarpone mousse with a dash of Marsala wine, all sprinkled with cocoa.

A soft chocolate mousse concealing a pearl of fine Belgian chocolate.

Lemoncello

Profiteroles

Dessert with a lemon preparation, lemon cream, sponge cake soaked in a light lemonflavored liqueur and decorated with vanilla flavored mousse.

Delicate pastry puffs filled with vanilla custard and covered with fine Belgian chocolate.
