Just look around us , now the level of health in Indonesia has declined. It is caused due to unhealthy food consumed . Here the role of the hospital is needed . Not only that cares nurses but also plays an important role in overcoming client . What is the nurse ? nurse is a person who plays a role in caring for or maintaing , assisting , and keeping someone due to illness , injury , and viruses aging . Here the role of the nurse is responsibled and authorized to provide nursing services independently and collaborate with other health professionals in accordance with their authority. In this era, and increased health care needs has demanded nurses to have the knowledge and skills in various fields . Currently nurses have a wider role to emphasis health promotion and disease prevention , based on comprehensive view of clients . people have classifed the function of nurses in general, such as : 1 ) Care Giver Nurses must : a) Taking into account the individual in the context of appropriate client's life , nurses should pay attention to the client based on the client's needs significant . b ) Nurses use Nursing Process to identify nursing diagnoses , ranging from physical ( physiological ) to psychological problems nasalah c ) Its main role is to provide nursing care to individuals , families , groups or communities according diagnoses problems that occur from problems that are simple to complex . 2 ) Client Advocate As a client advocate , the nurse is responsible for helping clients and families in interpreting information from a variety of service providers and to provide other information necessary to take approval ( informed concent ) for nursing actions that are given to him . Besides nurses must maintain and protect the rights of clients . This must be done because the client is ill and hospitalized will interact with many health workers . Nursing service is a relief given to individuals who are sick to be able to meet their needs , as living creatures that adapt to stress by using the potential of the individual itself . Quality improvement as one of the basic goals of the effort is the nursing care of protecting patients , healthcare workers and the organization . health care facilities to develop themselves continuously in line with existing development in the society . Therefore, every hospital and clinic should improve the appearance of each which is planned according to the needs and demands of the community to continue and grow.
