BASIC STEPS FOR USING A CANON EOS CAMERA. 1. Insert battery. Look at the bottom of the camera.

Slide the cover to open the battery box. Look carefully to make sure the battery is correctly inserted. Close the cover gently. 2. Insert a memory card The card is also in the same place as the battery. Slide the cover and insert the card into the slot, with the cards label facing towards the front of the camera. 3. Attach the lens. Remove the rear lens cap and the body caps by turning them as shown by the arrows. Then, align the lens index with the cameras index. Turn the lens until it clicks its place. Finally, remove the lens front cover by pressing the removing buttons and carefully the cover until it stops and detach it. 4. Turn on the camera After having the battery, memory card inserted and the lens attached, press the power button to turn on the camera. 5. Zoom using lens Turn the zoom ring, which surrounds the lens, to adjust zooming of the camera. Note that no zooming adjustment should be made after focus adjustment. 6. Adjust the focus In order to set focus specifically, press the shutter button halfway. The camera will automatically detect faces or things in the center of the screens preview. 7. Take a picture Press the shutter button firmly to take a picture. While taking a picture, remember not to shake or affect the stability of the camera, which may lead to the photos being out of focus or blur. 8. Change the flash setting. Press on the flash button to change the setting of flash light. Usually, the flash light will automatically fire when necessary, particularly in cases when it is too dark for a subject to be brightly visible. However, make sure that the flash mode cause visual discomfort and should only be used in certain cases. 9. Review the picture. After taking the photos, press the Playback button to view the taken photos. It is possible to erase unwanted or failed shots. 10. Transfer the photos to other devices To print or view photos taken by the camera on computer, connect the camera with another device using the USB connect cable. Open the folder in the Removable Disk on My Computer to access the photos. It is also possible to use a memory card adapter to view photos on computer. 11. Turn off the camera After using the camera, turn it off by pressing the power button. Removing the lens carefully and put on caps and covers back. 12. Charge the battery. The battery can be charged using a charger. After inserting the battery into the slot of the charger and it is plugged, make sure that the charging light is turned on. When the full-charged light is on, the battery has been fully charged. As the charger is unplugged, the battery will no longer be charged.
